Just thought I’d share this as a warning. I just had my account at Best Casino Partner “frozen”. The story in brief is this:
I sent a little traffic and picked up a good player a while back ($27k down so far).
In August, I received an email saying my payment was on hold and to contact my aff manager.
I did, and he said it was a mistake, so he “authorised” my payment.
I agree to put an Online Vegas banner up.
Same scenario again in September with a pointer at the new T&C’s that said they could remove my players if traffic wasn’t consistent plus a message to intimate that the only reason I was getting money was because of their retention team.Incidentally, to the best of my knowledge this term was not in place when I signed up.
This month I said that it was unacceptable behaviour to blackmail me into sending traffic and as a result I would not be sending more traffic until the term was removed.
Now they have told me my account is frozen…no more money from existing players then.
Thankfully for me this is the first time in 4 years I have been treated this way and it only justifies my belief that certain operators are not to be trusted. I hope any affiliate reading this who does not yet represent Best Casino Partner or Casinoblasters will be aware of what they are getting into. Once you’re in, they expect high exposure or you will not get paid. The removal of commissions is no longer an idle “threat”, it’s actually been implemented.Cheers

No traffic, you will get 1/10 of your previous month earnings and still going down like a rock !. We used to do 50-70K a month with BCP, few thousand players, 2 months of no traffic and we’re hardly making any money. Plus we also got the email regarding holdback of our payment.
September 15, 2008 at 4:35 pm #778788biggygMemberI hate to sound Bias but seems all the playtechs use same tactics except the ones based in UK.We rank for playtech terms but now instead of having playtech casinos we have warnings up .
September 15, 2008 at 4:58 pm #778791AnonymousInactiveBet365 is the only honest one out there I think. But anyway BCP is not Playtech, Blasters is. The latter have successfully tried to dodge a measly payment of $70 to me since they must have discovered that I haven’t sent any more traffic.

BetFred and ToteSport you can add to that. You can’t go wrong with the major UK bookmakers.

You are spot on… this clause was not there. It is blackmail and I have told them that as well.
I got the same thing and consequently have removed all their casinos form my sites.
September 15, 2008 at 5:19 pm #778794AnonymousInactiveTotally unacceptable! I am removing all the banners I have up today, there is no way I am going to play games and wait till I send them a few big players to be blackmailed. I think maybe we should add them to the black list circle of links we have going on.
September 15, 2008 at 5:22 pm #778795AnonymousInactiveIn our case, we lost traffic cos we lost positions on Google. Instead of getting help and $$ we deserve form BCP we got kicked in the balls .. LOL.
September 15, 2008 at 5:24 pm #778796AnonymousInactiveAll gone! Not getting in any deeper.
September 15, 2008 at 5:36 pm #778797AnonymousInactiveRight now we’re making decent $$ with C-Planet.com and their top brand Rushmore Casinos. We’ve been working with them for over 1,5 year now. Our traffic has been sh*t for the last few months, but we still make money from our old players in RM database.
What’s more Ben is amazing affiliate manager, always ready to help with all the issues.Second quality operator is casino coins.
Nowdays it’s so hard to find honest business partner for a longterm relationship .
September 15, 2008 at 5:45 pm #778799AnonymousInactiveI dumped BCP and Blasters a while back, and I won’t be working with them ever again. I don’t work with thieves or blackmailers.
September 15, 2008 at 6:12 pm #778804LucretiaMemberThey do not take your commission or lock your account, it is just on hold.
conversation :E : According to our Terms if an Affiliate is INACTIVE for 90 days we put his payment on hold
E : this does not mean we close the account or we do not pay the Affiliate
R : ok clear
E : payment is on hold ONLY
E : as soon you deliver new player we will release your payment
E : and we are really sad to read that because we believe the Term was miss understood
E : because we do have hundred of affiliates which are not promoting us anymore and we pay them since 2006The INACTIVE period should be more like 1-2 years, 90 days is just too short – IF it is needed.
With CB you can not retire from your players base without promoting.
E : as soon you deliver new player we will release your payment
I you got just one whale you will not get paid unless another fish bites…that is ridiculous.
on second thought i changed my mind, both terms are predatory and should be removed.
For ongoing business i have no problems with CB, but will limit traffic to a minimum.
I am not all that negative :
– there are worse programs out there.
– Second stats are ok and contain player numbers to track conversions and live help is available.
– payment is on time (for me it is on auto with neteller).Just want to see solutions with CB so we can work together in the future.
Bitching and whining does not make it better.
And 50% first month – 36% of Casino GROSS Revenue for their entire player lifetime is very good (if they convert for you t.i.).

:hattip:????????????? As soon as you deliver we will release your payment? We already delivered or we would not have a payment owed to us.
Try telling your credit card that you want to have a lower percentage and as soon as they deliver you will pay your bill.
Nuts!

I think your account must have been inactive for a while to get it on hold.
I have been sending traffic, it just wasn’t converting into $$.

If you ask the affiliatemanager to have a look into this matter, they are most helpful to get this sorted out.
I have some sympathy for the affiliate managers in that they are only doing what they are paid to do. It’s the company policy I have an issue with.

The message is clear. Translation: “If you don’t send us more players, we are not going to pay you what you are owed for the old ones.”
Inspiration: it’s your business, your call and I appreciate your position, but once you’re “in”, there is no “out” unless you’re happy to write off your money. of course. You can’t just decide to move them down a page, or drop a brand, or reduce the traffic. That is no longer an option for you. If they ever get a really bad reputation (lol), tough. You’re stuck with them.
Anyway, as an aside, I have just arranged to meet Jeff (Geoff?) at CAP Euro to put across my opinions.
Cheers

What is the truth? Which sentence is correct?
