    Hello,

Is it a good or bad idea to have lot’s of links to other pages of your website on your website?

We do it and have great results, we have a circle going within all our sites.

    BUT: Handle with caution!!

It is possible to cross the border, and trigger something in Google,
and than it’s nearly impossible to recover.

    elgoog is right.

The rule is to have links that add value to the user.

Try to make links that are relevant and prioritized. Main headers to important sections with keywords. Then within the text have text links to other sections.

For example, if you are doing a review on Vegas Red Casino, and have a sentance where you mention the deposit methods, you can have a link to other casinos that also offer the same deposit method.

I just wanted to add that it is important to have anchor text links in your content and if you have several sites be sure not to use the exact same content and page titles on all your sites.

perhaps someone can answer this question:

I have the internal pages listed in footer at the bottom of every page and this is reflected in the Google webmaster tools for internal links (about 84 or more). However, one page is listed as having only 2 internal links.

is there coding problem with the page perhap or have you noticed lower crawled internal links for some pages?

    thanks
