August 12, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — Platinum Play joins sister casino Rpyal Vegas on the mobile gambling market
Spin3, the Microgaming-powered mobile gambling technology provider, clearly got things right when it was engaged by the Fortune Lounge group last year to power the mobile operations of group online casino Royal Vegas.com — it has just been awarded the contract to bring sister casino Platinum Play.com onto the mobile scene as well.
Spin3 will provide its GameWire suite of mobile casino games, giving Platinum Play the opportunity to extend its reach beyond the online space into the burgeoning sector of mobile gambling. GameWire includes a robust back-office function, secure payment options and enhanced in-game support for players’ ease-of-use.
The portfolio of 14 games includes Baccarat, Roulette, and 3 Card Poker, and more targeted games such as the recently launched, football-themed Scratch ‘n’ Score. Platinum Play’s customers will also be offered the opportunity to play Major Millions, a progressive slot machine game which links in with online players and currently boasts a jackpot that is over the GBP 900,000 mark.
“Our business has been thriving since we first entered the market and we have recently been looking into new ways to expand our offering,” a spokesman for the Fortune Lounge group said. “After launching Royal Vegas Mobile Casino last year, we think the time is right to extend our mobile casino offering with another brand.”
Matti Zinder, Head of Spin3, commented: “Platinum Play and Royal Vegas are two very well-known and established names in online gambling and we are glad that we can support them in extending their offering to the mobile space.”
