A strange terms alert came in today….
A change in the Lucky 18 Casino Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions which removed ‘Cassava’ to replace with Issa. In fact, the whole set of terms and conditions are actually 888’s terms and conditions.
What does this mean? Well, we can all speculate, but does anyone know if Issa is related to Cassava in any way? Lou?
I find this at the very least, alarming. 888 has done a healthy job showing affiliates how little they mean as of late. I’d hate to see affiliates start promoting Lucky 18 Casino only to find out they could have a reduction in earnings at some point.

I will look into this further and post my findings.
My guess…. They cut and pasted 888s Terms and Conditions and missed the Casava part initially. New operators often do this (cut and paste) the terms from large groups as they assume the terms have been legally checked and are an industry standard. Its cheap and lazy, but its done all the time.

Yep, have caught many doing this. Not a big deal, really, but I always want to make sure that it isn’t done because they are actually connected corporations. In most cases they are not and, as you said, the terms are just copied and pasted with minor revisions.
Since CAP certified them, though, I thought I would come to those who know more about them to be sure it is just copied content and not 888 spawning a new company
