Sorry for the general post but I didn’t want to make these changes without letting my old link buddies know and in the olden days when I did recips I stupidly didn’t keep a note of everyone I linked to :sarcasm: Anyway…
I had an SEO review done of http://www.onlinecasinouk.net because it slipped in SERPS and traffic died. I was told that the linking I did from the front page was probably the reason – some “bad neighbourhoods” apparently. They suggested I either remove the bad ones and move the other links or “nofollow” them, which obviously I won’t do (like someone else here has – nudge, nudge, hint, hint, stop it!) as that’s underhand!!
So I removed the obvious bad ones – mainly expired (once paid) or naff sites from way back when I had no clue and I don’t think they are from people here, and have retained the remaining good links to http://www.casinovas.com front page which has been up for over 2 years.
At some point, I will move a few of the better links back once rankings are better, but apologies if you are one of the people this affects and if you prefer to knock the exchange on the head let me know. To be honest, there was little benefit from those links because of the apparent penalty and hopefully it will work out better for you on the other domain with the crap weeded out, but what do I know
Cheers
Simmo!
