I have a mac with the latest operating system, all updates, and the latest versions of both flash, and shockwave, but whenever I try to pull up a flash based online casino I get this warning:

    https://32red.microgaming.com/32red/missingComponent.asp?BTag=DirectRequest&tduid=

I’m assuming these flash casinos are supposed to be for mac/linux people since they can’t download the casino, but I’ve tried it on all 3 of my browsers and nothing works. I researched ActiveX like it suggests, but all I found was that it was for windows only.

Here’s the message if the link doesn’t work.

    32Red Flash Casino
This Flash casino requires the installation of a supporting ActiveX control (the FlashXControl Object) to operate properly.

Loading the control has failed for one of the following reasons:

    • You chose not to accept installation of the control when prompted.
    • Your browser security settings have been configured not to allow the installation or loading of ActiveX controls.
    • Your local user permissions do not allow the installation or loading of ActiveX controls. You may need to be an Administrator or Power User on your local machine.
    • Your browser does not support ActiveX controls.

The ActiveX control (FlashXControl object) is digitally signed and published by Microgaming Software Systems Limited, which means:

    • It was developed by Microgaming Software Systems Limited.
    • It is safe to install and use.
    • It is unmodified – the control has not been altered, corrupted or tampered with since it was signed by Microgaming Software Systems Limited.

VeriSign, Inc. (http://www.verisign.com) has also signed the control, confirming the identity of Microgaming Software Systems Limited as a legitimate commercial software publisher.
If you chose not to install the control when prompted, click the link below to reload the casino – you will be prompted again to install the control. Otherwise you may have to enable ActiveX functionality for your browser, and then click the link below.
    Reload the Casino

You might have a look at my site flash casinos. There are several online casinos using different softwares.
You also can try flash casino games for free.

    Hi joshmvf,

From the error message you get it seems MG flash casinos need a microgaming-signed activeX plugin on top of the shockwave/flash player to run the games…

Virgin Casino uses the Wagerworks casino software, which is flash only (no download version available). Last year, following players feedback, Wagerworks upgraded the system to make it 100% compatible for Mac users.

The Casino is available for freeplay without registration, so I’d be curious to find out if you experience the same problem you have with MG.

If you get a chance could you possibly try to play a free game at Virgin Casino and let me know if that works under your current setup (Mac OS X + safari I expect)?

    Let me know, cheers :)

Your casino works perfectly with my mac, fast and smooth.

Any idea why the MG software that is supposed to be supported isn’t working on mine?

    Thanks for testing :)

Since WW works ok, I’m fairly sure it’s a problem with MG’s FlashXControl object.

I would suggest you contact 32 red, their customer service is quite good, I’m sure they’ll get to the bottom of this.

    Cheers,
