Our daughter’s bestfriend from childhood is currently at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee in critical condition. The family has been called in and are in route at this time to Nashville. The Captain and his daughter, Melissa, are also in route. Her friend is Lyndsay Harmon, age 28 who has lupus but had a severe allergic reaction to meds and has severe blistering to her body from head to toe. Due to her lupus, her immune system is not fighting for her and the power of prayer and the grace of God is the only thing at this point that will help her survive. Please send this prayer request to as many people as you can and let’s pray for Lyndsay’s recovery and the safe travels of her loved ones.
Thank you
Patty Leonard

The T FamilyApril 22, 2008 at 3:09 pm #766286AnonymousInactiveThank you all for your love and prayers. I spoke with the Captain and Melissa late last night and they arrived safely. Lyndsay is still on the critical list but was so happy to see her best friend. Her white blood cell count is next to nil. I will give you an update when I talk with them today. Again thanks to everyone.

April 22, 2008 at 3:16 pm #766290compiitMemberIt’s times like this that pulls a community together. Some might say most of us don’t even know eachother, but in our own way we’re a family, and when someone that is a part of that family by being a part of anothers family it makes us realize how strong together we can all really be.
My family’s support and prayers are with Lindsay and her family and your family as well. May God give everyone the strength they need. And Lindsay a speedy recovery.
April 23, 2008 at 2:22 am #766339AnonymousGuestWill add her to my prayers. Its times like this that put things into perspective as I have been feeling sorry for myself because business is off.
Really makes me stop and realize how lucky I am.
April 23, 2008 at 2:46 pm #766376AnonymousInactiveHi Friends,
Melisa and I have returned late last night from Nashville, because Melissa had to go to work today. Patty, Melissa, Lindsey, family, and I all thank each and everyone for their prayers. Lindsey is in the burn intensive care unit at Vanderbilt and is healing some. Lindsy looks like she has been burned in a fire all over. The situation is very life threatening, but Lindsey does have a chance to survive. Lindsey, was very glad that we came to see her even though brefly. Due to her situation she must be kept away from all germs. I must say she is strong will and is fighting positely for her life. Back in the day she spent alot nights here with us and I am her second dad so to speak. She needs our continue prayers. 🙁http://www.lupus.org/newsite/index.html
