July 28, 2008 at 8:34 pm #773838weterekovMemberHello goopxx;
I’ve posted regarding GamblingWages a couple of times now.
The history (good and bad) with GamblingWages reputation (ie: CirrusCasino, CoolCat, and others) has been mixed depending on who and when you ask.
I had a lot of problems with these guys a few years ago both as an affiliate and as a player.
As an affiliate, I really hated these guys at first. I always felt somehow cheated on my earnings. But since 2005 or so, They picked up an affiliate manager (Nicholas) who was more than helpful to me on several occations. I began to see revenue increase and payments being made on time each month. In fact, when the big Neteller fiasco came about and I could no longer be paid commissions via Neteller (I’m a US affiliate), They began to send my payments via WesternUnion… Still always on time.
Nicholas has since left GW a while back, but there new manager (Vanessa) seems to be ok. I have received payments (with a notification) the past couple of months.
We will see how the latest management team conducts their affiliate relations in the months to come.
Now my thoughts (and advise) as a player… The first and most important thing is you need to do is FULLY READ THE TERMS AND CONDTIONS of any casino bonus they offer.
RTG (Realtime Gaming) is notorious for unrealistic “sticky bonuses” Also they do not tollerate “free” and “no deposit” bonus leechers… If you create more than one player account to re-collect new signup bonuses, you WILL have problems later when you deposit real money.
Personally I never accept any bonuses (with exeption to player comp points) while playing at online casinos. I just found from previous experience that it is always easiest to collect your winnings this way.
This probably did not solve anything for you but I thought you might like to hear something positive about GW.
July 28, 2008 at 9:55 pm #773843AnonymousInactiveRe. the bonuses:
They hand out unrealistically large bonuses (not all of RTG, this group in particular, it’s their business model as they explained here at another time).
These bonuses make it impossible for players to cash out because they always have a wagering requirement hanging over their heads.
At the same time, RTG deducts bonuses from affiliate income directly, so you have abnormally huge deductions from your pay.
If you do well with them, you should give the love to world club and see how much better you do over time.
July 28, 2008 at 11:48 pm #773854AnonymousInactivemagyck0ne and Dom basically summed it up. This is my total stats for Cirrus.

July 29, 2008 at 1:29 am #773856AnonymousInactiveMaybe one day they will fix the stats for Cirrus Casino (UK). Ever since the ‘new improved’ Gambling Wages came along, the stats always show this error:
stem.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.CheckFinalStatus() at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult) at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at gamblingwages.UserSiteControl.readPage(String sUrl, String sParams, String sMethod)
I’ve told them about it numerous times. Usually they ignore me but sometimes they promise to fix it and then don’t bother.
July 29, 2008 at 2:40 am #773865AnonymousInactiveI’ve had no probs getting paid here BUT there is a HEAVY amount of bonuses with this group which really doesn’t help much…
Here’s my all-time stats lol..
Summary to Date Number of Clickthroughs: 29698
Number of Downloaders: 22677
Number of Players: 16213
Number of New Depositors: 209
Total Initial Deposits: $7,238.00
Total Deposits: $161,058.00
Net Win: $1,380,424.63
Coupon Amounts Awarded: $1,246,359.63
Manager Credit Amounts Awarded: $48,576.03
ChargeBacks: ($105.00)
Net Profit: (Net Win – Coupons – Credits – Chargebacks) $81,728.17
Amount Deducted: $19,606.05
Amount Miscellaneous Adjustments: $0.00
Amount Added For Reversed Bans: $439.20
Amount Earned: $4,250.53
Amount Earned From Tiers: $7.50Most importantly ..
Net Win: $1,380,424.63
Net Profit: (Net Win – Coupons – Credits – Chargebacks) $81,728.17
Total Deposits: $161,058.00
Amount Earned: $4,250.53Doesn’t really add up very well does it?
(to be fair I did switch from my original CPA – crap CPA to be fair also – when I was a newbie to this game lol )… the Net Profit was bigger before I switched to Rev Share (in relative time I mean) – but for $81k Net Profit – I’ve earned (and at least been paid $4k)… that wouldn’t do on any other program eh
The fact they do pay up and the few player issues we’ve had have been resolved is the only reason they are still on my sites albeit with limited exposure.
Cheers,
GenoJuly 29, 2008 at 7:02 am #773868kygypoluftMemberGood morning,
sorry for the translator!
I have always been paid, this is the first time that I have such a delay, I did not have the commissions the month of June.
July 31, 2008 at 6:19 am #774073giftorgbestMemberI’ve not received from them for a long time.
July 31, 2008 at 9:23 pm #774185AnonymousInactiveThey sent an email last week saying they are having problems with the payment processor. They’ve been very good at returning emails lately. Have you emailed them?
July 31, 2008 at 9:32 pm #774186kygypoluftMemberHello,
I received the same mail.
But since I write for at least a date of payment, but I did not have any answers.
September 12, 2008 at 11:12 pm #778567AnonymousInactiveI received the same e-mail in the middle of July, updated my payment details, but no payments from them yet.
