    Hi all,

I logged into my Casino.com affiliate account yesterday and found that they owe me about $600. I tried to withdraw the funds, and I was greeted with this message:

Please note that you must have at least 5 qualified acquisitions before you are eligible for withdrawal or QuickFund transfers.

Unfortunately, I only have 1 player there. It shouldn’t matter “how many” players an affiliate sends. If just 1 player is making decent deposits, the affiliate deserves to be paid, regardless of how many “new” players are being delivered.

I *thought* that this predatory clause had been removed from the T&Cs. This was in progress while Martyn was there, and I promoted them with the expectation that the clause would be removed by the time I earned enough money to be paid.

I emailed Casino.com about this, and the email bounced. (3 separate times). Does anyone have a working email address for these guys? I was using affiliates *at* casino.com.

    Thanks in advance.

Cheers for letting me know Engineer, I will look into this for you and report back. At the moment I am limited as to what I can see and do in terms of emails and reporting but I can get people on the case for you.

Also, as we discussed the T&C’s should have been changed, however since I departed there is noone to push that through. But we had an agreement on the basis that we forget the 5 QA’s, I dont agree with it anyways!

I’ll be in touch when I can! :hattip:

    Hi all (D&M),

Martyn, I am assuming you are no longer with c.com but are trying to help anyway?

If that is correct then big Kudos to you sir.

This is exactly why we as affs need to be extra cautious about promises made that don’t appear in a timely fashion.

probably best to back off if something towards fullfilling the promise doesn’t come about within 30 days.

I say that guessing that Dave has seen 30+ come and go?

the thing is you must be careful to not find yourself where Dave is residing on this matter currently … should he now stop trying to promote this place and give up the one player who I would assume is lucrative … or avoid a situation later down the line where he stands to lose the income of 4 players making who knows how much in deposits?

I will never understand the thinking of the sponsors when they set quotas other than they are intent on one of two things: either shooing away the smaller affiliates by not offering an aff-friendly program … or they see an opportunity to steal some players.

I really don’t think its the latter but can’t understand the thinking behind the other idea?

The kind of money even one good sized player can bring to a casino far out-weighs the logic for having any kind of elitist approach as to how affs are aqquired and putting quotas … especially five … is the same as exclaiming on your website “we don’t want smaller affiliates”

before I go … this is vegas … is this the same aff program as 400 affs? they have the casino thisisvegas, is why I ask?

Hey BB1, the situation with me is complicated. I was made redundant from Casino.com and have since returned home from my 4 month stay in Spain where I relocated for the Casino.com role. However, they have offered me a position where I can work from home but I am looking to cover my own ass in terms of the T&C’s that have been thrown at me first before I officially sign it.

I have worked with Dave before and I would not put him, myself or anyone I have worked with in a situation where the company I was at are looking to steal players. The T&C’s that are in place have been altered and should be live, however I have not yet checked this to ensure its up to date, it is something that I need to follow up.

If you need to know anything else please let me know so that I can help out here.

Regards to the bouncing emails to affiliates@ they are bouncing so its best that you contact me on my hotmail address its my name, all lower case (martynbeacon) at hotmail dot com. This is also my msn so feel free to add me.

    Cheers

There have been no recorded changes to the terms as of yet at Casino.com. They are still the same predatory terms we have been trying to get changed for quite a long time :(

Well what can I say, I worked with you in order to sort out the terms and I also had a meeting with my bosses and the legal team where the changes were drawn up in legal speak. From there the spec was sent to be included in the next update when poker was added, obviously this hasnt happened.

I will follow this up but do not know what I can do about it if I am totally honest. KW knows my stance on it and while in Spain I tried to get this through, it seems to me its been forgotten about.

    Leave it with me.

    TBC….

    Sorry forgot to update this.

The commissions should now be on their way to the Engineer and I now also do not work for either Casino.com or Mansion but will still help out where I can. :hattip:
