‘Grand Resort’ unveils its grand refurbishments!

This year’s host for CAP Spring break 2008 – and Cyprus’s premier luxury 5* hotel in its spare time – re-opened at the end of March after an extensive multi-million pound refurbishment project.

opened again on 27 March 2008 after a five month refurbishment which began mid November 2007. A ‘day in the life’ at The Grand

Wake up to an airy, lavishly furnished bedroom, ease yourself into an outdoor seat on your own private balcony and breathe in the beautiful coast view.
Saunter down to breakfast passing the hotel’s lush indoor atrium lined with impressive gardens and hanging baskets.

Take breakfast down by the hotel’s free-form swimming pool at the edge of a sandy beach. Perhaps catch the early morning sun rays with a light stroll down to the ancient kingdom of Amathus a little way along the sea front, or around the hotel’s 20,000 square meters of beautifully landscaped gardens with exotic trees and sub-tropical plants.

Lunch could be at the stylish Kohili restaurant, serving freshly caught fish and seafood classics in the open air patio under the palm trees. If fish isn’t to your taste, choose from one of the seven exquisite alternatives.

If the centre of Limassol town sounds like too much effort, you can saunter through the hotel’s personal shopping arcade, or get active with a game of squash on one of the hotel’s professional standard courts, or some water sports by the beach.
