Has anyone else had this? Is this because google is going to update pagerank or is it because i sell links (like so and so many other websites do)?? I just did a huge directory submitting service, would that be the problem?
Really frustrating if you build your pagerank up to pr3 and pr 2 (including innerpages) on http://www.yesfreecash.com , http://www.dominateonlinepoker.com and http://www.dominatesportsbetting.com and now its gone
Google must hate me
Anyone got an explanation?
March 27, 2008 at 12:40 pm #764311AnonymousInactivethe toolbar pr is not the real pr
it doesn’t necessarily mean loss of traffic and/or ranking
but it will be harder to selll/trade links nowMarch 27, 2008 at 2:16 pm #764342dehghanMemberi know
the question is: how to get this visible pagerank back
i cant just go ahead and delete all my advertisers??!
March 27, 2008 at 9:04 pm #764394AnonymousInactivedunno,
some of my best sites have a pr0,
but no loss of traffic,
i don’t botherMarch 28, 2008 at 5:28 am #764418AnonymousInactiveYes, my gambling site went from PR3 to PR2. Yes, I sell ads. In fact, I had one company request a monthly price reduction because of the drop. I gave it to him.
If anything, I added content. In fact, I have more searches on google’s top 10 than I had before – alot of keywords in the sports betting industry.March 28, 2008 at 7:47 am #764420AnonymousInactiveElgoog, do you mean gray bar or white bar with PR0?
March 28, 2008 at 11:15 am #764426AnonymousInactivewhite=0

say a white bar means banned.
They say you need to mouse over the bar.
May be it says banned when it is when you mouse over the bar.I’d rather be at a bar in Amsterdam at the moment.

:tongue:March 28, 2008 at 1:39 pm #764439AnonymousInactivelooks like a ban, only 2 pages in google index, both with grey pr0
I assume these wil fall shortly as well.
March 28, 2008 at 1:41 pm #764440biggygMemberpr for many gambling sites are dropping .I personally think google has a thing against us.I have directories pr6 with pr5 catagories and the gambling catagories still pr0 even though it is the most populated catagory -33 websites are there.Meanwhile a new ‘british websites’ catagory with only 1 site is pr5.I gave up trying to understand pr lol
March 28, 2008 at 1:42 pm #764441AnonymousInactiveyesfreecash.com is heavily indexed so thats good.. I suggest you force all to either www. or not www to resolve that issue, this may, but i doubt be a cause of your issues.
March 28, 2008 at 4:03 pm #764453AnonymousInactivei think the poster in the seoforum is wrong
white bar is ok
grey bar is bad
amsterdam bar is bestMarch 28, 2008 at 4:27 pm #764455AnonymousInactive@allfreechips 158060 wrote:

It’s called a canonical issue and yes, if you have both http and www for your site, it can screw badly with the bots and you need to fix asap.
