Legal advertising in SE?

Hello I was just wondering if it is legal to advertise for poker and casino games on paid search engines like findwhat overture and so.. With the US law and all, I even see norwegian casino sites advertising from google PPC. For some years ago that was illegal and google didnt allow me to add casino and poker links.
