An Open Challenge to GPWA – The Line in the Sand is Drawn!

I was speaking to Michael over at GPWA yesterday and I issued the following challenge which he was quick to accept:

A CAP vs GPWA Tug Of War will take place on the beach at CAP Spring Break in Cyprus. This will be a herculan effort of strength, strategy and shear weight! At stake will be the honor of being the CAP Spring Break Beach Olympics Champions for 2008 plus we will have prizes for all the contestants.

Here’s how it works:

A six person team will be selected from each group to represent their community.

Michael will be organizing his best candidates and we will do the same.

At the announced time the rope warriors will meet in battle on the beach.

Spectators will have a supply of ice cold beer and wine to quench their thirst as they cheer on their team.

The winning team is the one which drags the other across the centerline.

Once the champions have been crowned then we will all celebrate and proceed to other beach friendly activities….

Me, Warren and Greg are confirmed for team CAP. I am trying to reach Dom (she has the flu) to see if she wants to help us pull our way to vistory. The remaining 2-3 spots are available. We are looking for size and power so if you fit that bill (all CAP members have power!) then your community needs you.
