Gareth Wong if you don’t know him is a great guy and someone that has been putting on the Gambit events for the past couple of years usually covering the costs himself or at least supplementing them so when I say he is a great guy I mean it because he really dfoesn’t have to do it.

I have been to a few Gambits and theyr are always well worth attending with some really high quality content and a great session at the pub after :hattip: If anyone is going from here let me know because I will be there –

Some details are below but you can see more here xxxhttp://www.thegambit.info/futureevents.html

    Gambit on Bingo

    13th March

Bingo has been an interesting sector, for remote (not offline bingo club, via online, TV, even mobile) Bingo, the story seems to be mostly rosy everywhere. Due to smoking ban, offline bingo in UK has taken a hit.

What does this mean for the industry?? is the future solely rest of remote growth or would there be a new format of combination of on and offline? or would it really be keno or new variant of Bingo that would capture the imagination of the cosumers?

Are the target audience different or similar? how do one reach them? via print, above the line or direct mail? how do one reach newer audience?

Where will the sector be? who will lead it in the medium to long term?

All these we hope to have answers from the esteemed panels to be assembled:

Simon Collins, Co-founder Cashcade/Foxy Bingo (confirmed), – talk about Foxy bingo and their new TV campaign

Leigh Nissim, Managing director, St. Minver (confirmed), – Why Brands want to get into Bingo – who the players are? – What are the key for success and sharing some key numbers

Matt Campion, Producer of Gala TV, Endemol (confirmed), – What formats work?

    Thanks for the update Alex.

Just curious, can the pensioners at least sneak outside between games for a quick stogey or perhaps a bowl?
