They have a script that you can embed and they will optin or double optin subscribers – your choice.
You can also mail from there and their stats are outstanding.
The whole thing is free until you have more than 200 subscribers.

I signed up with AWeber yesterday, and so far I’m pretty frustrated with it. You have to include a mailing address with each email you send, to comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM law.
I’m all for the double opt-in, but I’m definitely not going to include my real address in any emails that I send out.
I could get a virtual mailbox outside the U.S., but that isn’t cheap.
Also, Dom — does mailermailer automatically detect the country/state that the subscriber signs up from? That’s one reason I signed up with AWeber, but when I subscribed to a new list I set up, AWeber didn’t detect my country. It says “country unknown.” :sarcasm:
Thanks in advance.

‘This address information is used by our system to comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. It will be included in the header information of every regular message sent by our system on your behalf, and is the source for the information in the {{user(‘senderaddress’)}} mail-merge tag when preparing your message. It is also included in the confirmation messages sent when new subscribers sign up for your list.
This must be a valid postal address, not a post office box number. If you are not in the U.S., you must still comply with this law since the servers used are in the U.S. “so i take it that is the same case… but any address can be used unless they ask for utility bill?
