Not sure if that is really something that one needs to promote, especially since Alex fixed the bug that allowed people to vote more than once.
Yeah I agree. It’s like Intercasino do this for the gambling magagazine awards every year. Poor show.
Personally, I think it is in bad taste to ask anyone to vote for you no matter if this is for ‘Affiliate Program of the Year’, ‘Affiliate Manager of the Year’, ‘Affiliate of the Year’, or any other such ‘honor’.
I think it basically invalidates the award itself and becomes more of a farce than anything.
Sorry if that sounds negative, but it’s just my opinion of the whole deal. It quite quickly became a popularity contest, it seems.
Some people look at it like an election where you campaign…
What annoyed me most was them trying to get people to vote more than once. Not the popularity contest part of it – the unethical behaviour.
I was plain amazed when Alex said someone tried to vote over and over again.
I expect that from Bush, but this isn’t exactly about who’s going to run a country.
I thought that Renee was joking at first and having a dig at the other begger of votes, I would not ever think of voting over and over, I thought it was fixed so you couldn’t do that, what a shame. Well it is a good idea I just hope most folks are fair and don’t abuse this.
