I had a few spyware / adware issues on my PC that my virus detection program was not completely eliminating. When I contacted support they recommended that I install Spybot S&D. I installed the program and discovered a number of malicious programs running on my PC which it cleaned up for me.
Today when I tried to connect to a supposedly reputable affiliate website, that is accredited by CAP, I was alerted by the following message: “Spybot S&D has detected an URL that is known as a malicious resource.”
I’m not sure if I should mention the name of this affiliate website on this forum.
I find this a bit scary and feel I should discontinue supporting this program. :Cry:
