to add an alt text to all banners
good or bad thing?thanks
MarinaOctober 5, 2007 at 5:14 pm #750705AnonymousInactiveshould be a good thing
October 5, 2007 at 5:25 pm #750706supervinceMemberIts a good thing. Its actually invalid markup without alt descriptions on your images. Just don’t over do it with the same keywords. I wouldn’t put the same keywords in more than 3 alt descriptions on any one page.

allfreechips and Rob
i will take care with the keywordsOctober 5, 2007 at 10:32 pm #750716AnonymousInactiveJust use the ALT text to quickly describe the image.
Forget about keywords and describe what it is.You’ll find that this natural approach actually gets you ranked better for markets that your content is about.

thanks Gooner
to descirbe just the img
hmm
what about to use a slogan like
Daily Cash Prizes at Jackpot Factoryor something like
Inetbet – withdrawal within hourswould that be ok?
October 6, 2007 at 4:59 am #750722AnonymousInactiveI think that would be very acceptable.
When I said describe the image I didn’t mean to say “small rectangular advertising image” … I meant quickly cover the subject.
:roflmao:So covering both the advertiser and a bit about them makes very good sense to me.
I do a similar thing with my advertising graphics – eg :
– Bet365 – Top UK bookmaker.
– or Ladbrokes Sportsbook – Safe and Secure
