What does it take?

Today I am seriously wondering what it takes to make a good poker skin? I am seeing more and more of these just absolute crap sites looking for affiliatetes. I know sometimes people will set up a skin just to cater to a niche OR more importantly an exisiting media source. Think how PokerHeaven did a killer job leveraging on their Poker Channel in the UK.

But seriously what the hell is this?
