To anyone will care this question,

I may have missed something, BUT,

what happened to Desert Dollar, Vegas Towers, and Fortune Room? They all redirect to Platinum Play once you click any of the links on their sites.

Really, it is again very disappointing that we do not know anything of our ‘partners’ actions. That would save me exposure and place on my websites.

Unless, I missed the newsletter or some sort of info somewhere.

My links still take me to the correct casinos as of now…

and why my links first redirect to fortunelounge(second click redirects to correct casino)? and, why the links from fortunelounge page are without aff tags?

    xhttp://www.vegaspalms.com/?btag=DD_Direct&lmi=lmi
    xhttp://www.platinumplay.com/default.asp?btag=DD_Direct$_$redirectDD

and why in this case in my stats I see:
Conduit Visits from Fortune Lounge = 2 visits when I send hundreds of clicks?

    Hi Maxfalcon1;

Fortune Lounge is simply doing some testing around conversion rates across the brands. Initial results show that Platinum Play has a much better conversion rate so for the next 2 weeks 50% of traffic from Vegas Towers, Vegas Villa, Vegas Palms and Desert Dollar will be redirected to Platinum Play.

This is obviously to the benefit of all concerned as better conversion rates is what we all want in this business.

All traffic is being tracked, the post from vd752 is a separate issue, which I will PM him on to get more details…

Have a great day and weekend all.

    THanks for the reply, Marvyn,

however, I’m not too pleased that those tests are run without letting us or me know. When I promote Fortune Room to customers with the 1000% promo, I don’t promote PP with 300 Free Spin promo. Do you get the picture?

And in the long term you may remove those properties? Because if you allow 50% of their traffic to other properties, it’s that they are no longer in the course and that you need and want to build a stronger brand, which seems to be Platinum Play.

Thanks to let me know your plans. I’ve not good results with FA currently, apart some rare months where I get a spike in earnings. Last month a good player has appeared but unfortunately (for me) it has earned $16,000+.

It just misses a great deal of regularity and stability there to promote you more.

When a visitor redirected from say Fortune Room to Platinum Play he/she desides that it’s an error or very old link and leave the “better” site.
Probably on the raw traffic the stats work for the redirect but if an affiliate sends targeted visitor to a specified casino and the visitor fails to find the site, that does not work for the conersion, IMHO.

Um. There’s some obvious flaws in that thinking.

Firstly, If someone clicks a link thinking they are going to one site and are then taken to a completely different site, then they are likely to leave as soon as possible.

Secondly, if Platinum Play’s conversion rate is so much better, surely it would be more worthwhile to figure out why and then apply those factors to Vegas Towers, Vegas Villa, Vegas Palms and Desert Dollar. Therefore, you will end up with 5 strong brands not just one.

It’s somewhat different in this case.

When the visitor click on, let’s say Fortune Room with an advert for 1000% promo, he lands on Fortune Room.

But, as soon as he click *any* link on the website (for example the 1000% promo in this case), because it’s for what this visitor has been pre-sold, it is taken to Platinum Play with a message saying that Fortune Room no longer accepts new players and then he should play at PP because that’s a great choice.

IMO it is not very good im my sense, because if I market something it should be offered this thing to the prospect. We all know that visitors on the internet are very impatient and are unlikely to try something, or in rare occasions, they have not specifically requested.

Just my two cents. That’s why I may remove those properties if it lasts too long.

BTW, my player picked up this month… (the one who won $16K). Already 4K of deposits… :wink-wink and guess where… at Fortune Room. :roflmao:

    here’s the thing.

    1. the other brands have been around longer. that means they’ve either run their reps into the ground due to poor cs support ….. or for some other reason I can’t imagine.

    2. you send a player to a promised destination … and they find themselves somewhere else….. you’re in the surfer’s mind …… lying to them.

where’s the logic in any of this?

As much as I like and trust Fortune, this screws with my marketing.

I have visitors who return time after time because they know they will find exactly what they want.

If both the casino and the promo is pulled out from under them, they don’t trust my site anymore and that hurts me big time.

I am not happy about this and I think I will have to insert information everywhere I mention the casinos, telling players about the situation, and even then I can’t tell them for sure.

” Maybe you will go to where you want and get the promo you like, but maybe you won’t. You got a 50/50 chance. “

    Some sales point!

and when your test ends I will have to pull it out again.

    What a pain!

    Hi;

We’ve listened to your valid concerns and taken them up with Fortune Lounge. The decision has now been reached that this testing will be cancelled as of today and traffic will no longer be split.

We trust that this solution will please all concerned and thank you all for taking the time to express your views to us.

    Have a good day,
