I am urging all affiliate webmasters with links to HippoJo Casino to remove their advertisements and links from their website! This Casino has not paid players in months and I am positive that webmasters will be their next victim. -As a matter of fact, I would be surprised if any of you guys has been paid any comissions by them in the last couple months!
You can read more about their disgust here: http://mb.winneronline.com/showthread.html?t=29850&page=1&pp=10
For reference, I also made an earlier post about this at CAP: http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/brandnew-rtg-targeting-europe-and-uk.19697.html?&highlight=hippojo
September 5, 2007 at 2:04 am #747849AnonymousInactiveWeren’t these guys ‘friends’ of the guys who owned Hype? That’s what I remember from some time ago. If so – I’m not surprised they are not paying.
September 5, 2007 at 2:52 am #747855AnonymousInactiveIn London, one of the parties was sponsored by both Hype and Hippo Jo.

Yup. After the London conference many people came to believe that this was a serious joint and referred players to them. A major watchdog in fact recommended this house to his visitors, of which most have now been waiting for their money for three months and over. Since RTG itself does not offer any more player protection (dispute service) at all, everyone is currently stranded.
This place is just another example of why there is no more than a couple RTG places that can be trusted! If anything happens, there is no way to get help from anywhere.September 5, 2007 at 10:52 am #747882vladcizsolMemberHippojo and Hype did co sponsor a party at CAP Euro London. But as far as I know there are no connections between the two beyond that. We pair up sponsors for parties and events to make the costs more managable for smaller groups.
One interesting bit of trivia. The founders of Hippojo have been around forever and were involved in numerous casino start ups including Microgaming groups like the original Captain Cooks Casino…. :hattip:
September 11, 2007 at 1:14 am #748351CaptainetteMemberThere are still numerous webmasters in this forum who are advertising for this place. In your players’ and your own sake… PLEASE remove this ****hole and avoid any further damage!
In the meanwhile, Casinomeister finally “rogued” them after he still advertised for this place just earlier this summer. -This one definetely did not work out the right way.
Edit: If you are interested in this matter, I think you should read this post too: http://mb.winneronline.com/showthread.html?t=30457
September 17, 2007 at 12:41 am #748946CaptainetteMemberI would like to keep this issue in the spotlight here, until the situation is resolved.
I can not believe that there is still affiliates to list HippoJo on their website.October 12, 2007 at 5:11 pm #751178CaptainetteMemberBump
Some players have now been paid installments of their withdrawals.
While HippoJo still owes lots of players lots of money, there seems to be a slight little bit of hope back for all victims. -We shall see…October 31, 2007 at 11:30 pm #752860CaptainetteMemberTheir website is down now and emails are bouncing.
Here goes the next RTG scam.
November 1, 2007 at 3:45 am #752865giftorgbestMemberSo sad to hear it. Let these not paying casino affiliate programs be down to death.
November 17, 2007 at 9:07 pm #754274CaptainetteMemberApparently the old operators of Captain Cooks Casino are responsible for the foul acting of HippoJo.
Dozens, if not even hundreds of players remain unpaid and this case presents is a sad but perfect example of what can be done when one of RTG’s operations decides not to pay. I seriously hope that no CAP member is still advertising for this joint by now, after I have still seen some ads around a few weeks ago.November 20, 2007 at 2:12 pm #754506giftorgbestMemberI did not promote it for a long long time.
November 22, 2007 at 11:51 am #754718CaptainetteMemberFyi, the software is still up and running today, while the site and customer service have been dead for weeks now.
December 8, 2007 at 8:02 pm #755999CaptainetteMemberWeeks after their website and customer service disappeared, the software is still functional!
Since “The Casino Online” I have seen dozens of RTG’s going down the tubes, but none of them was open for so long after anything else already disappeared.Perhaps another group will take them over, like it happened with Miss Millions a couple years ago? -Currently there is however no reason for hope.
January 8, 2008 at 6:28 pm #758190CaptainetteMemberThis joint is officially dead now. Both, website and casino software are dead and affiliates and players are burned.
Thank you so much, RTG!!
