Like another rat fleeing a sinking ship Attroney General (and traitor to the American People) Alberto “Personal Freedom is Quaint” Gonzales has decided to finally tender his resignation and head for the hills.

August 27, 2007 at 3:30 pm #746863AnonymousInactiveMore Good News: I wonder if some of these recent decisions to leave are showing that President George Walker Bush is being looked upon as being a Lame Duck President and that they want to distance themseves from Bush and Corruption which is mastermined by the Pig himself Dick Cheney and the former Nazi Advisor by the name of Karl Rove.
I think Bush is to stupid to realize that he has to change his course, but the brains behind him left is Dick Cheney the brother to the Devil himself is still calling the shots.
I wonder what kind of welcome President Chimp will get in Australia when he goes to the APEC meeting for September 8 and 9. I would say he will get about the same reception as he did in Montebello, Quebec where protestors called him a War Criminal. As far as I am concerned being a Canadian we shouldn’t allowed the War Criminal President into Canada, but then we have a pussy Prime Minister by the name of Stephen Harper who better watch himself or he will be gone as he has a minority government with only 124 seats. To me Stephen Harper is a Bush wannabe and we don’t need that in Canada.

No
The facists are having a hell of a time even acknowledging that one of their lap dogs have left the kennel. Nothing like the right wing media machine to turn a blind eye to real news.
August 27, 2007 at 9:42 pm #746930AnonymousInactiveRegarding FOX News
They have to be the worst of the worst when it comes to reporting the truth or even to report the news in some cases. As far as I am concerned FOX News is the Propaganda Chanel for the Bush Administration and they never report the news truthfully but accordingly as to how they are told to. It is the chanel that those 25% of the Bush Supporters still watch but they don’t even have a clue what reality would be in the first place if it were to stare them straight in the face.

August 28, 2007 at 2:30 am #746953AnonymousInactiveI think someone as talented and hardworking as Alberto Gonzalez is likely to find job private sector, lying for them. He could lie for Halliburton, but i think Cheney is in charge of that. He could lie for defense contractors or even lie for a large oil company. Talent like this can’t go unutilized for long.
Fox News – best argument as to why Fox isn’t a news source, was put forth in NY Times by Paul Krugman.
In October 2003, the nonpartisan Program on International Policy Attitudes published a study titled ”Misperceptions, the media and the Iraq war.” It found that 60 percent of Americans believed at least one of the following: clear evidence had been found of links between Iraq and Al Qaeda; W.M.D. had been found in Iraq; world public opinion favored the U.S. going to war with Iraq.
The prevalence of these misperceptions, however, depended crucially on where people got their news. Only 23 percent of those who got their information mainly from PBS or NPR believed any of these untrue things, but the number was 80 percent among those relying primarily on Fox News. In particular, two-thirds of Fox devotees believed that the U.S. had ”found clear evidence in Iraq that Saddam Hussein was working closely with the Al Qaeda terrorist organization.”
