just wanted to ask what is up with this?
As a loyal player, I wanted to give you a heads up on what is about to happen to EcoCard, your preferred payment option.
EcoCard has informed us – and they’ll write to you shortly – that they are pulling out of the US market, but do not worry because they are ensuring that a secure depositing method will be made available to you.
In the meantime, continue playing your favorite games and be sure to stay up to date on the official blog of the Jackpot Factory spokesperson.
xxxhttp://www.jfspokesman.comAs mentioned above, EcoCard will contact you and let you know how to pre-register for this new method in the coming weeks. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our support team.
people tell me they are reciveing these e-mails from you
but Eco says this affects ONLY new sign ups from USA!?
But this e-mail is sent also to existing ECo account holders.
Any more info what we should maybe know?

that looks awesome
can we add then also our tags to that?July 12, 2007 at 2:25 pm #742303AnonymousInactiveHi BonusParadise – and all affiliates,
Thanks for the posting and the heads up on this EcoCard issue. Following is a statement from David Brickman, the JF spokesperson, with an explanation of the email which was sent to players:
Hey All,David Brickman here, JF spokesperson.
I’d like to clarify the EcoCard issue. EcoCard has informed us – and I’m sure other casinos as well – that they will be pulling out of the US gaming market and replacing their EcoCard payment option with a new option that they will transfer their existing US customers to. Only players who have accumulated $500 or more in gaming transactions will be invited to move to the new payment method.
The email that was sent from the casino was simply meant to be an informative email pre-empting EcoCard’s notification. Once EcoCard makes the change, it will be too late to accumulate activity on an account. As such, we were simply trying to do a service to our players by letting them know in advance.
In regards to the $500 minimum deposits – that is a limit set by EcoCard and not by the Jackpot Factory group. We did not in any way mean to mislead any of our players. If players have accounts at other casinos and have deposited over $500 with EcoCard they will be included in the move to the new payment method. However, there is obviously no way for us to know which players have accounts at other casinos and/or how much they’ve deposited there.
Next week I hope to have more updates regarding EcoCard. Be sure to check my blog at jfspokesman.com frequently – for the latest updates. If anybody has any specific questions, please feel free to contact [email protected] or send me a private message.
All the best,
DavidI think David’s statement is fairly self-explanatory.
Regarding the jfspokesman.com blog – you’re welcome to make comments and add links to your sites. But please note – your BrightShare btags will not follow your players, if they click on a casino from the blog. We are getting this fixed and I’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.

I have, what I consider to be a long standing good relationship with the JPF group, beginning with Lloyd. I got to tell you, my fur has been back-stroked by this email, I received and while David’s statement does clarify things…it doesn’t resolve things for me.

======================================Dear Kathryn,
As a loyal player, I wanted to give you a heads up on what is about to
happen to EcoCard, your preferred payment option. EcoCard has informed
us that they are pulling out of the US market, but they are ensuring
that good players will have another secure depositing method made for
them. But what is a good player?
According to EcoCard, it is a player who has deposited
over $500. Our records show that you are only $56 away from this mark.To secure your place at Wild Jack Casino, be sure to deposit at least
this amount by this Saturday, July 14th, 2007.In the meantime, be sure to stay up to date on the official blog of the
Jackpot Factory spokesperson,

team.Your Wild Jack Casino account number is XXXXXXXX.
Have a great day!
Don’t be locked out of Wild Jack Casino?
Make sure you make the cut?
Deadlines? While I can appreciate the explanation that David gave of trying to keep PLAYERS informed…I am having difficulty understanding why JPF chose not to include the details, that it was an overall $500 in gaming transactions with Ecocard.
Can you appreciate how this looks and feels as a player and affiliate?
If this was a COMPLETE mistake, I guess I expected more of an apology and contrition rather than just an explanation. LOL…afterall, they did get me…for another $30!
Hmmmm, for now…I don’t know what more to say right at this moment, so I guess I will wait and see what everyone else thinks.

July 12, 2007 at 4:25 pm #742314AnonymousInactiveI second that post (above)..
I don’t think ‘not knowing the casino players other gaming activity’ is a reasonable excuse for not sending out ‘the facts’.
I would sincerely hope that most casinos / marketing managers / and spokepersons for the like know that many online casino players play at more than one casino site (within the same group or not).
That was just plain misleading and nasty marketing which I know is not the fault of Brightshare of course
Slap the peeps responsible at the next Xmas do eh
July 12, 2007 at 6:47 pm #742318AnonymousInactiveI have to agree with Kat and Crush this was marketing gone bad again by the JPF folks, sorry that Brightshare has to once again clean up a nasty mess left by the (casino)marketing team.
July 12, 2007 at 6:57 pm #742319AnonymousInactiveGood points Crush and Bonustreak. I notice where I said in my post, a long standing relationship with JPF group, I should clarify that to say …the Brightshare group.
Personally, I don’t know who is responsible for campaigns like this, but I gotta tell ya, I am still really bent by it.
July 15, 2007 at 10:06 am #742504AnonymousInactiveHi All,
According to the info we have, EcoCard will be sending out emails this week and maybe this will help clear the air.
The JF casino marketing team really did just want to give players advance notice of the EcoCard change. Admittedly, they got a little too overly-ambitious suggesting amounts to deposit before the weekend.
A clarification email was sent out on last Thursday evening by the JF team.

July 17, 2007 at 9:28 am #742680AnonymousInactiveI saw the emails to players and from the couple of players that forwarded them onto me they were done pretty soon after – and included an apology accepting that it may have been misleading…. I think the players are happy about that now and I am too.
I think that’s about the best anyone could expect from that and I’m happy moving on from this.
Thanks Marcia for keeping us up-to-date and responding so quickly
All the best
Cheers,
