January 25, 2009 at 3:47 pm #793738vladcizsolMemberNo elgoog it isnt true. But truth doesnt seem to matter anymore. We have chatted at many of the events and its been a pleasure my old friend, good luck in 2009 and the future.
January 25, 2009 at 3:57 pm #793739AnonymousInactiveThank you for your answer Lou.
Take care and enjoy the fishing!January 25, 2009 at 4:11 pm #793742AnonymousInactivePhew, this had me very worried. I am glad to hear that it’s not so.
January 25, 2009 at 4:46 pm #793747JtnktnzxMemberOh – so now I have my posting priviliges back. What the hell?
You know damn well – at least the moderator does – that earlier, my posting priviliges were disabled, I couldn’t read the main public section and my PM box was 100% full – but as soon as I mentioned this at Casinomeister it’s back open.
What chicken shit. Disable my account and then re-enable it as soon as I publicly point this out. I’m not stupid – I’ve used vBulletin for years and you probably have a “bastard child” user group – can’t read 95% of the forum, can’t post, can’t PM.
I don’t have time for these baby games. Go ahead and close my account.
January 25, 2009 at 5:14 pm #793750AnonymousInactivec’mon Prof and Meister,
communicating is the only way to solve things.January 25, 2009 at 6:59 pm #793763AnonymousInactiveI really hope that this can be resolved in London guys. I have suggested that maybe their are too many at CAP staff members with the banning privileges and maybe you should arrange it so that only 1 person can do this? I know that once a team member gets ban happy things can get out of control in a hurry on a large forum. Maybe have a meeting and talk about banning a person before it happens.
Personally I was stunned to hear about this, nuff said.

Agreed. There needs to be some better control in place over this.
January 25, 2009 at 7:24 pm #793768AnonymousInactiveI agree that we definately need to have one person in control of that ban button as I just took a lot of flack over the ‘technical’ glitch or what ever happened with CM’s ID here over at the GIA!
It’s like an atomic bomb went off or something and it’s very depressing!
January 25, 2009 at 7:33 pm #793769neophyteMemberde-modding your moderators without a word of explanation is pretty poor as well imo. nothing surprises me here anymore tho.
January 25, 2009 at 8:02 pm #793771AnonymousInactiveNo one has been de-modded.
We were just discussing getting some double checks on bans. Mods actually don’t ban here anyway.
January 25, 2009 at 8:09 pm #793773EvelinessaMemberCasinoMeister and all,
I do not know why CM’s account experienced such an error, but i’m going to find out and see why this occurred. If it’s a bug, or a human performed action, i can find out. It IS possible that a dead link, or some inaccessible link was clicked – this has even happened to me before. either way, i’m sorry to hear this happened and let me check things out.
Also, just to provide an example of why this MAY indeed be a bug, see the screenshot below. As you can see here, it shows i’m logged in, but cannot post. Considering the fact I am a forum administrator, seems a bit wierd, doesn’t it? I will touch base with CM directly and find out the exact error message he got, and how he navigated to it.

uh i was a mod in ur seo forum. then I was a registered user, after i had commented on someone’s site from a seo standpoint on CAP. Needless to say I wasn’t amused at not getting a pm or email explaining exactly why I was de-modded. Courtesy costs nothing, I think.
