I’ve been working for weeks on an article and came to the realization early on that I didn’t have the skills necessary to express my thoughts. This has frustrated the hell out of me. I’ve started at least a dozen times, trying different approaches and different methods of delivery. Thank God for Al Gore. I can finally put down my pen so to speak and just point. When you have the time, please take a moment to read this excerpt from his book It covers it all; the country, politicians, rights and the internet.
The Assault on Reason Now I can delete all those pages that stare me in the face every time I go to my documents file.May 18, 2007 at 4:32 am #737252AnonymousInactiveI’m looking forward to reading the book in its entirety.

Another excellent book, along the same lines as Gore’s new book, is Our Endangered Values – America’s Moral Crisis, written by Jimmy Carter. Well-written and the logic in his arguments is hard to ignore.

I’m not into politics that much especially when it comes to my reading so I haven’t had the chance to touch his others but I am sure they are all good. Peace not Apartheid looks especially readable.

I don’t generally read a lot of political books, but that Carville fella is a hoot.
