Our site and opt-in email lists get real good traffic and are sports gaming content based. We just started to get into casinos and have been happy with the clicks to download ratio, but not seeing any real money.

We have converted almost 10% of clicks into downloads, and 50% of downloads into registrations . . . But there has been no real money play . . . What is the typical time tail on real money play?

The three we are using right now are:

    Fortune Affiliates
    G3
    Rewards Affiliates

    How old is your site?

We have been in the sports content business for years. Our opt-in email list is probably one of the biggest.

17 people on staff at our main office in Vegas. Have always focused on sportsbooks/selling picks and just decided to market casinos.

Ok, so that’s ok, because usually I hear such questions from owners of new sites. According your programs to promote. I promote Fortune Affiliates and Rewards Affiliates also, but I don’t do a lot with them.

As for me Mainstreet Affiliates is the best program and I’d like to recommend Vegas Affiliates, but now they have problems with stats and payment delays, and most affiliates currently suspended them on their sites.

We are very successful with Bodog. Same with BetUS.

Tried our hands at the casino, but do not have the knowledge in comparsion to the sportsbook arena.

Anyway to gauge success measures on clicks/downloads=deposits?

I think nobody knows the exact answer. It depends on programs, targeted country and etc.

For example I have more than 2500 downloads in one of GFed casinos for the year and no players at all.
I may recommend you to try another programs. I think it’s necessary to promote several programs (at least 5-10) to find the best program for you.
Because I know that some affiliates have very good conversions in Rewards Affiliates but another affiliates don’t have good conversions.

Many clicks can be from just 1 visitor, especially with affiliate programs that offer many casinos like CR. It’s no clicks that I find alarming.

Downloads can also be misleading as some programs like CC for example, record any attempt at a download.

Signups is what really matters, ideally real player but even the fun signups indicate at least things are tracking properly and a fun player can become a real player at any time. I usually download the casino myself just to get an idea of it’s process.

Creating sub-campaign id’s and checking the traffic stats tell the tale.
Most of my real players actually come from my deposit method pages and not my home page, so that is where I put the banners and links from the programs that do best for me.

My site was originally for land-casino slot players so I still see alot of searches for some land based slot games in the stats.

Fortune hasn’t done much in a long time.
I just had a decent player at CR but the previous two months almost nothing.

    Thanks for the initial feedback.

Guess will open up some more channels on who we promote.

Like I said, we have had great success in the sportsbook field. Casino is a different animal.

As mentioned any feedback is appreciated.

    Hi,

do your homework. do searches on possible sponsors. take the advice of vets in the industry to heart and don’t take the approach …. it won’t happen to me.

So many variables that come into play. It depends som much on which program you support.
