I just spoke to nat today, who said her and 2 other top managers quit today as they are not getting paid either, keep this quiet for now though but things dont look good. She states they have the money they just are not paying on time.
May 9, 2007 at 5:36 pm #736134vladcizsolMemberOk I heard she was going to quit, but was still looking for a new position. So Chips you spoke with her and she said they did in fact leave today? Did Nicolas go too? (No great loss there)
Can you have her call me?
May 9, 2007 at 9:59 pm #736196vladcizsolMemberNatalie contacted me and she is gone from Gambling Wages but she cant announce anything as they still owe her a lot of money. Nicolas is apparently still there.
May 10, 2007 at 8:58 am #736245AnonymousInactiveShe was quite unhappy when I spoke to her in Amsterdam.
To be honest guys – I never touched that program with a ten foot pole, even though Natalie was a top manager IMO.
Why? The owner of the casinos has screwed players and employees for years. Natalie was a huge exception as far as how long she lasted there. What makes you think he won’t screw you then? Because he needs you? Think again.
He probably screws the cleaning lady out of her income too.
If you promote places that treat players and employees like so much shit, it will come to haunt you one way or another.
Sorry if I offended anyone, but I feel strongly about this.
Natalie acted as a buffer. She was very good at it. She got him to let her establish a seperate section, physically removed from his meddling, and ran the program as she saw fit. A gutsy and competent lady.
That has come to an end now. My advice is to run as fast as you can.
May 10, 2007 at 11:42 am #736270vladcizsolMemberThey were always shaky, but with Natalie there I felt comfortable that I would be paid. Nicolas on the other hand is a rude asshole and I would rather work with the cleaning lady.
I am pulling them from my sites.
May 10, 2007 at 12:27 pm #736279AnonymousInactiveNat was the most responsive manager I had from the get go, its the only reason I kept going with them. I am owed quite a bit from 2 months ago now and feel it may be a lost cause
Im sure she will find a home soon as she is great at what she does.
May 10, 2007 at 12:55 pm #736283AnonymousInactiveCan I ask as to why Gambling Wages are CAP Accredited? Their bad reputation is second to none…..
May 10, 2007 at 1:01 pm #736284vladcizsolMemberWebzcas there are a number of reasons:
1. They have been around for a long time and there are thousands of affiliates who work with them.
2. Their track record is certainly NOT the worst out there by a long shot. They arent the best either. But if we ONLY listed programs who were A++ rated and adored by everyone we would have only a handful of programs here and that would not be serving the majority of our membership.
3. Natalie was a good aff manager and responsive when we called on her for support. The willingness to work with affiliates is a key factor in retaining them.
May 10, 2007 at 1:03 pm #736286vladcizsolMemberOh by the way…. There is no guarantee they are going to remain certified. I am very unhappy to see Natalie go and if Nicolas is left in charge and displays the arrogance and unresponsiveness he always has in the past we will be booting them off CAP.
May 10, 2007 at 1:24 pm #736291AnonymousInactiveI think we need to keep them around for a bit to allow affs to try to retrieve their money and when that’s over with or appears hopeless I am all for booting them and good riddance.
May 10, 2007 at 1:32 pm #736293vladcizsolMemberI am leaning that way too.
I want my money first also.
May 26, 2007 at 12:36 pm #737952AnonymousInactiveI was very surprised to get a call from Nicholas asking me for my wire information so that he can end out my payment. I had been getting WU from them and it appears that WU is no longer an option.
Anyway I hope that this is a sign that they’re addressing the payment issues.
