Bet365 Affiliate T&C’s wrote:2.4 Registering of Domain NamesYou shall also refrain from registering (or applying to register) any domain name similar to any domain name used by or registered in the name of any member of the bet365 Group, or any other name that could be understood to designate the bet365 Group.

Thanks for your opinions.
May 30, 2007 at 10:30 pm #738367AnonymousInactiveIF you use bet365.ws to promote bet365 then you are in breach of their terms and when they realise they weill probably end your deal.
If you use bet365.ws for promoting other bookies then the domain name give you NO ADVANTAGE at all.
As such the domain is not very useful.
Estimated worth $5.

May 31, 2007 at 1:30 pm #738430AnonymousInactiveThanks Simmo and TheGooner, Good Day!:hattip:
(Worth $5?!! :grunt: But TheGooner, I bought it with $28!:plain: )
May 31, 2007 at 11:49 pm #738492AnonymousInactiveAs with all speculative transactions … what you paid for it doesn’t really come into the calculation.
The domain is specific to one company – and is only worth something if you can get their permission to use it.
Otherwise – it really doesn’t seem to be any better than a thousand other names Bet001, Bet100, Bet24 (etc).
Oh – why did it cost $28?
Is that the cost of registration in Western Samoa?
The ws suffix does not seem to make it any more valuable than any other suffix to me.Unless you can get Bet365 permission to use it as an affiliate – then I’d stick by my $5 valuation – and expect to see it disappear when the registration expires.
Sorry mate.
:huh2:June 1, 2007 at 11:04 am #738532AnonymousInactiveI’d also add that you’ll never get a “.ws” domain to rank well in Google.com as it has a “local” version for that ccTLD (Google.ws). If you do a search for “casinos” on G.com and G.ws you’ll see that any .ws domains rank in the latter, but not in the former, so you’re market is limited pretty much to Western Samoa.
You may be better off aiming for keywords in extensions where Google doesn’t localise, though in our market I’m not yet sure if this works. I’m trying it with “gambling.io” at the moment to see if its possible to rank.
