I have been promised 4 call backs from the affiliate dept after not being able to access my account after a password change went awry and I was unable to retrieve it via the web link…tell you what Jon Jon would have been on it in minutes.
STD rates are not cheap from Australia and I have been an aff since 2001, I think I deserve a little more courtesy.

Hi D,
while I cannot say in “minutes” ….. the man never let me down even back when I was a nobody and HAD to write him because my aff manager didn’t get the job done.
I will never forget writing him saying …… “some of us are real people with real families to support and all we ask is what we have earned” ……
J-J quit a short time after that …… but not before getting my issue resolved and many more issues were resolved before that because I wrote J-J.
He has always earned my support since then ….. and back then ….. he was king on top of the most promising aff program …….bar none!
OUTSTANDING is all I can say.
J-J … if you’re reading this …. it is what you bought and paid for by showing the time to address even the smallest of affs (back when) ….
My hat is off.
Now back to D’s problem
March 27, 2007 at 7:39 am #732020AnonymousInactiveCobus had been off sick and called me today. Problem resolved….seems to be a firefox2 issue if you change your password and logout you canna get back in!
So we changed and tried again…firefox still at fault, got in fine in IE.
Thanks Cobus!
March 27, 2007 at 7:40 am #732021AnonymousInactiveHi there,
I’m glad you’re satisfied with the answer you received from Cobus
I would just like to say that we do the best we can for all our affiliates – regardless of how ‘big’ they may be.
To answer BB1 this is not a mind set unique to Jon Jon and certainly didn’t leave ReferBack with him – the entire focus of the Account Manager team is knowing our partners needs and satisying them as best we can while keeping our program profitable.
Seeing as how we are heading for a decade in this business I think we must be doing something right
Cheers,
Shane
March 27, 2007 at 9:04 am #732024AnonymousGuestHi Shane,
no disrespect meant towards you or RB,.. just said my experience in my usual truthfullness.
J-J was outstanding and I think RB lost while somebody else gained when he left.
I’ve many times spoken on behalf of RB …. because it was the truth.
So as I’m doing now.
Have a great day!

But I have to blow ReferBack’s horn otherwise they force me to eat the lunch here *grin*

Thanks BB1 – it’s been there pretty much since I started posting on CAP – to my mind there is no point being your point of contact on CAP and you can’t contact me
