Transfer $$ to a merchant. These guys are laughing in our faces!
Up until today we were able to do this Merchant transfers. Then too many started asking this ?
“NETeller has claimed that US customers can use their accounts to purchase items from non-gaming ventures. How is this possible if the US government has seized funds? Which NETeller continues to claim”
So today, Neteller got caught in a lie so what do they do? Bam no more Merchant Transfers. Look the US Government has a part in this, but NT has lied one too many time for me. Let’s face it NT has the $$ and just dont want to give it up.
March 8, 2007 at 12:59 am #730048AnonymousInactiveDon’t feel so bad. I read today on gambling911 that some pro poker champ (Isaac Haxton) got his winnings of $800,000 frozen in Neteller and is blaming the US government. Who the hell would leave that kind of money in an online money prosessor?

Who the hell would leave that kind of money in an online money prosessor? The answer to that question is a “pro poker champ”. There were many pro poker players who played online for very big stakes. Pro sports betters were another category of online player who bet very big money.
To take advantage of opportunities that come and go very quickly (for example, line movements on games), pro gamblers needed to keep money in an Ewallet like Neteller. There are times when a good bet only lasts minutes. In those cases, a skilled player needs to move money into an casino/poker room/sportsbook quickly.
800K is on the the high-end, but a balance that large isn’t unheard of.
March 11, 2007 at 4:49 am #730360AnonymousInactiveWell I just read over there that some idiots are planning a class action suit against Neteller. Maybe they should file their suit against the DOJ for interferring with money which they have no right to. :fencing:
