Not sure what it is, some way for banks to scan ach transfers to make sure they are not on some list?
The Patriot act is/has been used to invade individual privacy.
Yes we need to stop terrorism and I am all for legitimate security, but this power has been abused.
I bet the lists this outfit sells to bankers includes all the gaming related processors and is at the core of our problems.
I understand these are the people who did the Florida election too….

I’m all for legal pot smoking.
now that said: what gets me is that next to the video are links on how to grow pot …… etc
what the hell is the difference between providing info on the best places to gamble … and how to grow pot?
answer …. there isn’t! Its all a free speech issue. and though I didn’t visit the links ….. I’m certain there are advertisements for grow lights … all kinds of things related to refer.
probably even places where you can purchase seeds.
now what I’m getting at is a gambling portal is no more guilty of helping people gamble …. than is a website devoted to growing pot and advertising aids on doing so is guilty of actually growing the pot.
and don’t even get me started on the video. I was disgusted (and am only half way thru it) to see a war veteran who had a purple heart and several other medals …… was given 50 freakin’ years for selling an ounce of pot.
of course …that was back when …. but still …… its sickening to see that young man’s life was taken from him for such a reason. The people who gave him that sentence are the ones who ought to be put away.
Kill somebody and you’re out in about ten years. its outrageous.
