Hey Guys any news on the next ASOP, when and where will it be?
Had a great time in the last one :wink-wink
March 4, 2007 at 4:09 pm #729467vladcizsolMemberGuys we had hoped to have ASOP at CAC in Amsterdam, but the legal climate there towards a poker tournament is touchy.
I can confirm this, I spoke with the events director at Atlantis on Friday and they are THRILLED to have ASOP there during our CAP Spring Break Event in June.
So to answer your question ASOP will be back and bigger then ever in June at CAP Spring Break in Atlantis. We are lining up sponsors now and will begin the free roll qualifiers in April.

Yeh.. something Dutch.. Poker is legally only allowed at the Holland Casino..
But almost every bar has his weekly or monthly poker tourny, illegal but nobody is doing anything about it..Typical Dutch and that’s why it’s such a nice place to live..
March 4, 2007 at 9:40 pm #729505AnonymousInactiveyou can organise it at the Holland Casino
ot them being the organizer at KrasnapolskyMarch 6, 2007 at 12:40 am #729658AnonymousInactiveLou,
I dunno if this has already been addressed and answered, but I can’t find another thread so here goes:
Will there be discounted rooms at Atlantis? I’ll tell you straight that I can no where near pay the $300 a night typically associated with this place. And, if there will be discounted rooms, do you have a ballpark on the rate yet?
Thanks :notify:
March 6, 2007 at 12:52 am #729660AnonymousInactiveLou said here http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/cap-spring-break-website.18808.html? that there are special rates for this event.
But if you can’t afford it, I will gladly sponsor the APCW if you wear one of our t-shirts during the event :shakebutt

Of course, I prolly should qualify before I make any deals! LOL!
March 6, 2007 at 1:53 am #729666biggygMemberAPCW is more than welcome to Pimp my wheelchair and my two kids .Just send the baloons and streamers and we will be a matching band lol .You will have to pay me a load of cash to wear a bikini though lol .The Atlantis Website just gave me Price of $1495.00 + Tax for 3 nights .Maybe cheaper To Buy a Package Deal from Canada.
March 6, 2007 at 2:29 am #729669vladcizsolMemberGuys we have FANTASTIC rates for attendees because we booked 250 rooms. When I stayed there last weekend I paid $450 a night for a room in the Royal Towers because I booked it direct from Atlantis.
The rate for CAP Spring Break Attendees is ONLY available from our block of rooms and it’s as follows:
Coral Towers Rooms – $230 per night!!!!
Royal Tower Rooms – $275 per night!!!!!
You will NOT get a lower rate anywhere else for Atlantis.
Both are excellent rooms with balcony. The only reason the Royal Towers are more is because they are brand new. So if you are on a budget I would go for the Coral Towers (That’s where I am staying)
Also you have to keep in mind that we will have lunch, snacks and a fabulous dinner and lots of drinks EVERY DAY covered by sponsors. So this is your chance to stay in one of the top 10 resorts in the world for a VERY reasonable rate.
I am sure rooms WILL sell out fast so when we open up registrations later this week DONT procrastinate or you WILL end up paying MUCH higher rates for your rooms.
And, as always, CAP Spring Break is FREE for all CAP affiliates and certified partners. We don’t charge you admission. So this is the best deal of the year.
Oh by the way… The Affiliate Series of Poker (ASOP) is going to be bigger and better then ever. Prizes for the final table are REALLY exciting so sharpen up your poker skills. Listen to this….
First Prize $10,000 + ASOP Solid 14kt Gold and Diamond Bracelet valued at over $10,000!
Second Place $5,000
Third Place $2,500
Fourth Place $1,250
Fifth Place $750
Six Place $500
PLUS all six final table members will be joining us at CAP Euro BARCELONA in October for the Fall Fiesta. We will cover their airfare and hotel costs!!!!!
And, as usual, the cost to affiliates is NOTHING. 30 people will win their way in via Free Roll tournaments that will begin in April. The remaining six spots go to our previous ASOP winners from CAP Euro in London

March 6, 2007 at 4:40 am #729693biggygMemberLou what if some of us want to stay for a full week ,will we get the $275 a night deal or only for the 3 days?My kids will need 3 days just to do the water slide lol
March 6, 2007 at 12:35 pm #729730vladcizsolMemberCBG the answer is probably no. The reason we have that rate is because we booked that many rooms at once, but ask Beverly or Karen to check with our sales contact at Atlantis. They MAY extend the days as a courtesy, but I cant guarantee it. Our Toll Free number will be on the site and you can call and chat with our events team and see what they can work out.
March 6, 2007 at 1:15 pm #729742AnonymousInactive^^ Same request as CBG. Seems silly to go to such a nice place (especially if you’re flying from the UK) for just a few days.
Prof, I heard the royal towers are amazing but not much about the other one. In your honest opinion, is the extra cost to stay in the Royal Towers well worth it? Or is the other hotel good enough anyway.
March 6, 2007 at 2:03 pm #729748vladcizsolMemberTo be totally honest I prefer the Coral towers as they are closer to the casino and shops. The Royal towers are newer then Coral, but they are a further walk (a long one due to the sheer size of the resort) and the only real difference is they have flat screen TVs versus the old bigger boxes.
I will check to see if we can get a discounted rate (probably wont be as low as conference rate) for additional days. I know Mrs Professor wants to stay a few extra days also.
We will have the little professors with us along with our first little grand professor and they have been lobbying for more time too.
