Hi,
I would appreciate some feedback on the following questions. Constructive criticism is welcome, but lets keep it as “constructive” please. Hope this is the right place to post. If not can a moderator please move.
As I see it, the affiliate industry is become increasingly difficult to operate in as a US resident with problems getting your money out, etc. I wonder if some major affiliate programs will also at any point stop accepting us residents altogether. I’m sure some people will just sell up and leave, but i’m sure a good number will want to move on.
Anyhow I am considering offering an affiliate management service through my company in the UK and have put out some feelers and would appreciate some feedback/opinions. It would basically either take over affiliate accounts or you would use specified tracking links on sites. The money would go through the company and be passed to users by an agreed means with a commission deducted as a reducing % for larger amounts. Potential legal issues aside:
(1) Is there such a market for the service and reasons?
(2) What if you were to use such a service would be you key requirements?
Thanks in advance,
John
