    Hi all,

checks must always be an option for getting money to players.

asking them to sign up at various ewallets which may/may not be viable in the months ahead is not acceptable.

what’s going to ultimately happen in this case is players are simply going to stop playing.

checks are an option regardless of what anybody says. As long as checks can be written from an out-of-state company to pay anybody for anything .. they are an option.

I suppose western union (or equivalent) is an acceptable alternative to checks, but i can think of little else.

This must be addressed in a timely fashion before all US players simply fade into oblivion.

Western union is tracked and I dont think people want to be using that as a regular way to get paid , also the fees are crazy .And they have to go out to find a place to collect ,they need a pasport in most cases to get paid over 1000.00.This is an awful solution in long term , may be ok to buy a bit of time but really not much.

I think you are seriously better off going back to the list that doesn’t accept US players and working with them on the non US market. If you notice, all of these companies that are in the process of screwing everyone were the ones saying no worries, “business as usual” this past October. They all look like they were trying to just milk the thing as long as possible before getting out.

None of the programs I work with that only market to non US players has any problems paying US affiliates. Do you see anything on here from people complaining about payment options with Party Poker or Wager Share?

    good point F&P.

however, since most my players are US based, its simply not a viable option.

people trust my judgement. there are and will continue to be places (such as CR) that have viable options to getting players cashins.

I have just written CR’s Ryan to ask if they’re committed to offering paying players in a timely and fashionable manner. I fully expect a competent and dedicated to player’s … reply.

Except for the email Cpays just sent out yesterday:

Due to recent developments, CPAYS will only be issuing payments in Canadian Dollars, British Pounds Sterling, Euros, or Australian Dollars. Payments will not be made to US accounts or to US mailing addresses.
We will be happy to further assist you in all payment matters. Please contact your affiliate manager for any additional questions.

There’s a program that doesn’t allow U.S. players and has publicly stated they can’t pay U.S. affiliate accounts either now.

Is this one of the programs that kept accepting US players after the new law was signed? Because that email sounds like an offical announcement that they no longer accept US players. If they’ve been in compliance with the new law since October they should have no problem paying US affiliates for non US game play.

CPays and CPatners have stated this, showing that many of us were right about those outfits all along.
