    Hi

Is there any way that we can keep 9am revenues separate. Having winners on VIp kill offf 9am revenues really is no fun.

    Thanks

    Hi red,

have you seen the other threads about their predatory terms? bundling isn’t your worst problem with this bunch.

    FYI

bb1 is correct. Both 9AM and VIP Profits have predatory terms and conditions. I would suggest steering VERY clear of these two outfits, at least until they revise their T&Cs.

The terms and Conditions issue was resolved and the professor has clearly stated that they are NOT predatory and NOT retroactive.

    Please find the post here:

Affiliates that have a history with us, know that we will not penalize affiliates
for having a few bad months.
Au contraire, we will be helping them!

Justred, feel free to email me with some details on that negative.
We cannot keep the revenue streams seperate by brand, but we ARE keeping them seperate by revenue type; Casino, Poker, Sports/Horses.

There is no negative carry over in Casino and even with a negative in sports, you will still be able to earn on the other revenue streams.

To bring some clarity to this, we have added the following:
“Player accounts funded prior to November 23, 2006, will continue to accrue revenue for the lifetime of the affiliate agreement.”

That concerns ONLY player accounts, not affiliate accounts.

The new terms are still retroactively affecting affiliates who signed up with a different contract, and the terms also state:

VIP Profits merchants agree to do everything possible to encourage a first deposit from all players that you refer exclusively at the merchant that you referred them to for 30 days. If the client fails to make a deposit after 30 days, the merchant reserves the right to market any other brands in the group to these players and affiliates tracking will not be applied

    and

VIP Profits merchants agree to do everything possible to extend the life of your clients for as long as possible while they are playing exclusively to the brand that you have referred them to. Any client that lapses in activity for 60 days or more may be marketed one of the other brands in the merchants group and affiliate tracking will not be applied. Merchants understand that some players are seasonal, and these players will of course be remarketed to under their affiliate-referred account during the appropriate seasons.

    Just stating facts here.

As per the above, it means the casinos are bundled but there is no negative carryover.

    Looks damn predatory to me.

It is predatory. Just double-talk if you ask me. Until their terms are amended like every other program is doing, it is not worth being an affiliate with them.

If they would only look at their terms from an affiliate’s perspective, they would most certainly agree – change them – AND gain a lot of new affiliates in the process. Some quite large.

    What KW says is true.

The whole reason I am so up on the subject is that i have for a long time considered VIP, but I am one that has a very few amount of clicks, but once I get a player and the see how determined I am to making sure they have a quality experience … I seldom lose them.

In fact, they often write me (thus the reason I recently discovered not getting credit for signups at multiple sponsors).

whales appreciate my one on one attention. I wish very much that aff programs also appreciated (some do) my attention to keeping players happy.

this however means that often times … in fact one program in particular (Brightshare) sees almost no clicks but a lot of downloads every month. Brightshare seems to appreciate this …. though sometimes they don’t produce like I think they should (not the case recently, – surprising – in a very pleasant manner) and as such I’m in the process of increasing their exposure.

what many aff programs fail to appreciate despite my trying to make them aware, .. is its not the amount of clicks … but rather the bottom line that matters.

I dare anybody to argue that point because I’ll always point to … the bottom line. that’s what matters!

predatory terms especially in this case are not acceptable. Like I’d want to send a couple of whales (because they are so very hard to get) to some place that clearly has it in there terms that its alright to cheat me out of the due income I have earned them.

They are predatory no if and’s or but’s about it! Double talk all day long it will not change the fact that I am at your mercy on all my players I bring in after the 23rd! Like I said in London what happens if your replaced, what will the new manager think and how will heshe inforce this term, the whole thing needs to be tossed out period.

Then the new issue of bundling…
WOW this is a big issue considering bundling sucks and is wrong to begin with but with 2 seperate casino platforms to boot that is insane! I am glad these programs are off my sites, I get a migrane just thinking about the ways your all cheating affiliates.

I do not like the tone people are using in this thread as we have been more than fair with several affiliates slashing us including paying for trips to Vegas, offering exclusive bonuses yet they still decide to scope low and slash a thread unrelated to the so-called predatory terms and not sticking to the post at hand.

Lets be fair and this post was about someone who previously had a 9am account and had their data merged into the profits account asking if they can be seperate. This is certainily something I can look into.

Also I would appreciate that moderators of a forum that we pay money to sponsor do not go around slandering us, as this is unprofessional and also uncalled for considering the amount programs pay to sponsor these forums.

Also on a side note we are re-addressing the terms and conditions.

on a side note we are re-addressing the terms and conditions.

the only relevant post I’ve seen concerning this thread from managers.

what is slanderous? the simple truth is that the truth is the truth.

Simon has committed to a conversation about their terms and conditions. Let’s give him a little time to talk with us about this. I am sure it will be a major benefit to us all to take a wait and see approach. I promise to keep everyone abreast of our talks whether favorable or not.
