Just got off the phone with Neteller and was told that effective last Saturday (January 27th) US accounts could no longer use their Neteller cards. Any money already loaded onto the cards can be used to make purchases but you can’t withdraw those funds at an atm. You can move the funds back from your card into your account and move it out via a peer to peer but there is a $20 minimum for that procedure. So basically:
You can’t move any funds onto your Neteller card
You can move funds from Neteller card to your account
You can’t make a peer to peer unless its for a minimum of $20
You can use the money on your card to make purchases (at .75 charge per use)Don’t move the money from your card to your account if you’ll have less than $20 in your account when you’re done transfering; you wont be able to get any of that money out if you do. Just use the amount on your card for chips and cigarettes til its gone.
January 30, 2007 at 10:54 pm #725004vladcizsolMemberThis is getting more and more complicated. Has Neteller posted this at the site yet? I havent seen or read anything to this effect.
January 30, 2007 at 11:01 pm #725005AnonymousInactiveI withdrew cash from an atm saturday, sunday, monday, and today with funds already loaded. But I cannot add funds to the card .
January 30, 2007 at 11:11 pm #725006AnonymousInactiveIt isn’t posted on the site that I’m aware of. I called because when I checked my card balance it said This Service Unavailable. I spoke with Alex at Neteller who gave me this information.
January 30, 2007 at 11:32 pm #725008AnonymousInactiveMy card was denied 3 times since 1/27, but I got it work once to get the rest of my balance out. If your card doesnt work once I would try it again.
I have not been able to load my card since before the 27th.
January 31, 2007 at 2:13 am #725030AnonymousInactiveThat is correct. I tried to withdraw to my debit card on 1/29. At first it said pending, then after 15 minutes it went to declined. I called support and was told this is no longer an option. I was told the only option was requesting a check. I asked what the wait time would be and I was told that they couldn’t give me a time frame. He said the check would be processed in the order the request was received. I recall another post yesterday where support told someone a check wasn’t an option anymore. It seems that anyone with NT funds should be looking for foreign friends if you want to get your cash.:madat:

Some casinos accept all USA players while others accept those located in 39 states.
So how are USA winners getting paid? Why can’t affiliates get paid the same way?

All US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account to safely transfer funds to and from non-gambling merchants and are not required to close their account or withdraw their funds.
Not sure how this helps, but I would read it as you can still use your account as before, just not to transfer money with online gambling sites. But what do I know, maybe they changed their minds since writing this.
