Hello CR
The thing is, Im receiving visitors right? To the same top 5 casinos and poker rooms I have listed on my new website. WHats strange is that I dont see visitors comming to my site at all, none, at my statscounter service.
I assume they are visiting my site as all casinos visited when I see CR stats are from the same casinos and poker rooms as I said listed on my site but since visitors have not been counted I assume its something wrong with the statscounter service. It always logs my visits though so Im confused.
I would like a feature where we could see from what page our visitors came from to track marketing campaigns better.
Thanks

The page that sent the traffic. It’s a good idea and is implemented at some sites.

If you don’t see visitors, there are probably no visitors.

Since crawlers follow links, they will visit the CR properties vi your aff code and it may look like a real visitor did so.

The Gooner: I talked to renee and she said I could just a small code and to all of my aff links so tracking is possible.
December 4, 2006 at 3:20 pm #717825AnonymousInactiveNo it cant be right when I think of it. If it is the crawlers who visit my depth aff. links they must first visit my index page. I see no visits to my main site or to the top 5 casino and poker html pages. So I guess I have visitors but they are not tracked by StatsCounter.com

So I guess I have visitors but they are not tracked by StatsCounter.comCrawlers (search engine spiders) do not always enter from the index page. At least not on my sites. Think of all the links out there on the web to your site… Also – have you ever noticed that the spiders do not always keep indexing once they have started? Well, on my sites, they seem to (from what logs say) come back another time and begin where they left off.
StatsCounter is 100% accurate from looking at my raw logs for comparison.
December 5, 2006 at 2:53 pm #717947AnonymousInactiveThe site IS new and hopefully its just the crawlers. But I find regsitrations but no downloads on my casino rewards site so that is also strange. Cause no visits according to statscounter. If it was the crawlers it would show visits and maybe downloads as CR has some popups.

Maybe it’s a unique kind of crawlers who simply like to gamble
