Captain,
I thought of you on the 16th, knowing it would have been your daughter’s birthday. I regret that I was traveling for a few days with no computer, I hope that you were able to survive the day with good memories and smiles.
I also know that today is the first anniversary of her death, and it must be incredibly difficult for you and your wife. I wish you both peace, comfort and strength.
May you receive all the friendship and compassion 10-fold that you have bestowed upon us.
