This affiliate has spammed my forum no less then 9 times. The site they are directing traffic to is: http://www.goodcasinobonus.tn.uz/

    Affiliate links:
    http://www.allslots.com/?&bTag=aszsusolcas
    http://www.firstwebcasino.com/index.php?bTag=fwzsusolcas
    http://www.alljackpots.com/index.php?bTag=ajzsusolcas

I keep banning this person but, they must have a floating IP because they keep signing right back up and spamming with a new name.

It would be appreciated if you can put a leash on this affiliate. Better yet, an axe!

Sorry this took me a little time to check into, but I wanted to get as much info as possible for you.

First of all, this spam you have on your forum is not the work of an affiliate – it would be a lot easier to take care of if it were. It is an advertiser we use – but it’s not even him directly. The advertiser in turn uses services of all different search engines. What you see on your forum is the result of their work.

Tomorrow I’ll be meeting with the team which works with the advertiser directly, and will have the opportunity to check with him if there is any way to prevent this from happening in the future.

Sorry I couldn’t give you a more definite clear-cut solution, but hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to see what’s possible to do to prevent this.

    Hey more4me,

We met with the advertiser about the spamming of your site and he’ll be following up on it.

So he can do this as thoroughly as possible, please send me the link to the page where you found his banner tags.

    Thanks for your help,
    Marcia

P.S. If you prefer, you can write me at [email protected]

    Marcia,

Thank you for following up on this. I got 2 last night:

    http://www.goodcasinobonus.tn.uz/

    http://www.yourluckybonus.tn.uz

Both have obviously been removed from my site but, you can find the affil. links on those sites.

    Hi more4me,

We are taking care of this immediately and it is receiving our highest priority. This is an ad media source that outsources and despite the fact that I was informed by our advertising rep that this spammer was taken care of… I have passed on your latest update to be followed up on.

Apparently this spammer is spreading out as we’ve had several more alerts from other affiliates getting hit by him.

We take this very seriously and will make sure this is halted right away.

Thanks for your understanding and patience,
    Marcia

Real casino account with 25 Dollar No Deposit !!!!!!

Open real account and get $25 free
    Make sure
    http://www.25dollarcasino.co.nr

The worst part is, they are saying there is a $25 no deposit offer and there is none! So, they are not only spamming, they are falsely advertising!

I have moved the post without editing it. I have it saved in archives should you wish to see the original post.

    Again, thank you.

    Hi more4me,

Below is an explanation of this situation from the Director of Acquisition at the Jackpot Factory:

    The Situation
7Search (the advertiser in this case) are a PPC engine that also has an affiliate program. You can read about the details of their affiliate program here: http://www.paypertext.com/. We advertise with 7Search as do many other casinos and other affiliates. One of the 7Search affiliates is doing some nasty marketing and sending traffic to a 7Search search results page for casino related keywords. You can see on http://www.paypertext.com/ examples of such search results pages. This 7Search affiliate is earning income whenever a visitor clicks one of the search results. Since we also do PPC advertising on 7Search our ads are sometimes displayed – depending on what search terms the affiliate is targeting (We bid on search terms – just like in overture or Google). The banner tag used on this occasion (zs) is not specific to any 7Search affiliate, but rather specific to the keyword that we bid on. So we can’t say what traffic has been bought from this guy or that guy. We can only know what traffic has come from what keyword group.

    The Solution
We’ve complained numerous times directly with our 7Search rep. They claim to have blocked this particular affiliate. However, the problem isn’t going away so we are checking with them further. The details of exactly how they’ve blocked we’ll get later – we’re calling them later today. Please keep in mind that we have no connection whatsoever with this particular spammer and we can’t stop him from harassing you. Hopefully we’ll succeed in getting this guy totally kicked from 7Search and that way he’ll lose his income source and stop with his tactic. However, 7Search may only block this guy for us (and not Globally). In which case, this guy will continue to harass you, it’s just that our ads won’t show up on the results pages that he is promoting.

We are waiting to get details about what 7Search has done so far to kick this guy. In the meantime I hope this explanation of the problem has been at least informative.

Hopefully we’ll convince 7Search to give this guy the boot – 100% for all of us! Details to come later.

    Thanks,
    Dean

    Dean Gibbons
    Director of Acquisition

Hope this helps explain the situation and what we are doing to rectify it.
Please keep us updated if you continue to get spammed by this guy with our casinos.

    Thanks,
    Marcia

Wow, this creep is really being persistent – thanks for the update that he/she is still posting.

I’ve forwarded this info on to Dean, and we’re still on it – will update you as we get more word from 7Search as to what they’ve done to block this guy.

    Hi All,

Please see the email below which we received from the 7Search team:

“After further review, we have isolated the source of this traffic (on our end, the clicks were coming through a completely different domain than any of the examples they had provided). We have blocked this source entirely from our affiliate network.”

This should put this one to rest. :colgate: Thanks to you all for helping us get this guy.

Of course, please don’t hesitate to let us know if any more such problems arise in the future.

    Ciao,
    Marcia
