Hello, I sent you a support email using your support form, but figured I would post it here as well. I know you guys just completed some sort of upgrade over the last 48 hours since your site was offline with a message stating such. When I logged back into the site a few minutes ago using my login and password, someone else’s information came up. It had my company name and birthdate, but everything else in the account details was for someone else. My initial thought was someone had hacked into the account, but the account was now revenue share, not CPA like mine is set up for, which I know can’t be changed by the user.
In any case, it sure looks like some database corruption to me so I figured you would want to know about it ASAP.
If you want to pull my full email from your support queue you can look for my email which is webmaster at casinobonuswhores.com.
Good luck,
CBW
October 25, 2006 at 8:49 am #713339JimmMemberHi CBW,
Firstly, on behalf of PlayShare Affiliates, I’d like to apologize for the inconvenience and annoyance this may have caused you… I can understand how disconcerting it can be to login to your affiliate account, only to find that certain things have inexplicably changed.
I have consulted with our technical team, and they have said that, as part of yesterday’s systems upgrade, there was a database collation. Whilst, in most instances, this is pretty failsafe, it seems that some of the formatting has gone awry. The upside is that the data has not been corrupted in any way whatsoever, and we are working on getting everything back to normal as soon as possible.
In the meantime, the PlayShare Affiliates website is temporarily unavailable. I’ll keep you posted as to the progress.
NB: If anyone else has experienced a similar problem, please PM me with the details. Please include your affiliate login, so that we can deal with it as quickly as possible.
Regards,
Lawrence.October 25, 2006 at 11:56 am #713353JimmMemberHi all,
Just a quick note to confirm that the issues have been resolved and everything is back to normal. As mentioned before, absolutely no data has been corrupted.
The PlayShare Affiliates website is now live, so it’s back to business as usual

As an old IT guy, I knew even if there were any problems, you had a rollback plan where no data would be lost. I just logged into my account and everything looks as it should. Thanks for your snappy response.

November 10, 2006 at 12:29 pm #715288AnonymousInactiveHi !
Just wondering what is going on with the site now? Two days I have tried to log in and check my stats, several times and says …system upgrades again.
When can we expect stability and when will I be able to log in?
November 10, 2006 at 12:45 pm #715291JimmMemberHi Kathryn,
I am really sorry for the inconvenience  – these system upgrades sometimes seem like they’re doing more harm than good.
The PlayShare Affiliates website is back up and running again, and you can login and do what you usually do, as per normal.
Just so you know, we actually are working on some substantial and exciting upgrades to our system, and should more than make up for the frustration you may have experienced…
Regards,
Lawrence Wilson
