If Frist’s move was underhanded, it was also wholly appropriate, given the way the GOP has handled this issue. The debate — to the extent that there has actually been one — has been marred by misdirection, red herrings, and a certain obliviousness among the bill’s supporters to, well, reality.

I can’t believe such an article made it past the editorial staff of Fox – the most right-wing, pro-Bush news bunch, that I’ve evern seen. Then again, it emanated from London, and the tide is starting to tilt there politically.
Wasn’t it Fox who aired that commercial with Michael J Fox that Limbaugh so tactfully criticised
Maybe the tide is turning there as well.
Another interesting move is that the UK government has stated that it wishes to promote online gambling, which is very very good :happydanc
