I have half heartedly tried to sell http://www.4flush.com and http://www.pokerreerolltour.com with no real success. My thoughts on all this at first was I would take them down when the DOJ knocked on my door! Now I have changed my mind.

The one thing we US affiliates/players had going for us was competition. If one site did us wrong, there were others to go to and that kept everyone in line in my opinion. Now the competition is not there and what happens if you do not get paid? I am not saying it is going to happen, but our options are now more limited than ever.

So I am bowing out. Not out of online marketing but stepping aside for a while in this area. I have learned so much and have come to respect so many here, that there is no way I could every say thank you enough for all I have learned.

I must though, ask for a little more advice in an area I know nothing about. Park the domains or sell them. I get decent traffic and do think in a few years we could see a turn around in the online gambling area in US. There all have a few years left in the registration, is this one of those “Won’t hurt to try” decisions?

    Thanks Everyone

Don’t park and don’t sell them – lol. You want to try and keep the content, even if its without affiliate links as one day you may come back. You don’t want to lose Google etc if you can help it, especially as your domain is aging nicely in the meantime. I think you’d regret parking it. Or selling it, personally.

At least wait and see what happens to HR4411 before you decide.

    Thats my advice :)

    Cheers

Does the bill make it illegal for me, as a norwegian based in Norway to upload and operate casino related content on US hosting? Do I need to get foreign hosting and if so from what country?

Thanks. Im not giving up. Once I gave away my affiliate accounts for free to one on this board but Im back in business.

In norway it IS illegal to advertise for casino and poker rooms to norwegian residents. I’m just hoping the new US LAW wont act the same way.

There is though a gateway and that is creating an offshoure company, I see some firms already establishing offshoure business directly targeted to casino affiliates.
