It is with the deepest regret that I post to inform you that in light of recent legislative changes, our client casino and poker sites will no longer be able to accept transactions from some areas within the United States.
This will come into effect once the ‘Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act’ is signed into law by the President, which is expected to happen on Friday 13th October 2006.
The new ruling applies to all new and existing players residing in the States listed below:
1. Illinois
2. Indiana
3. Louisiana
4. Michigan
5. Nevada
6. New Jersey
7. New York
8. Oregon
9. South Dakota
10. Washington
11. WisconsinOnce the Bill is signed; our client casinos and poker rooms will no longer be able to accept transactions or wagering from any players residing in the states above.
We will continue to accept deposits and bets from players within the remainder of the United States while we continue to monitor and review the legislative situation.
You will be paid for ALL wagering (if on Revenue Share) and ALL depositing players (if on CPA) that have registered and played up to the signing of the bill. The Casino Profit Share team is extremely disappointed with this legislation; however we also see this as a great opportunity for us to work with you to diversify and expand your traffic base into other markets and we look forward to assisting you with this.
Rest assured that Casino Profit Share and our client sites will continue to monitor the legislative situation and if there are any changes, we will be sure to advise you. In the event that the Bill remains unsigned player account statuses will be unaffected.
I do sincerely apologise for the late notice with this, but trust that you will continue to support our program as we work together to move forward.
If you have any queries or would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at [email protected] or our support centre via [email protected].
Regards,
Trish – Casino Profit Share.October 13, 2006 at 5:07 am #711544AnonymousInactiveThank you Trish for the update. Good to see you have your facts straight.
