Guys I just wanted to let you in the public community know that CAP is on the verge of releasing a major new online tool that will really help us all in the battle against content theft, scraping and black hat spamming.
This software suite will automate the process of identifying, tracking and reporting the black hatter sites that are currently polluting Google and Yahoo. It will also automatically report the offending affiliates to the programs that they are promoting illegally. It is a multi pronged response to the problem and I think it will be a very effective new tool.
Special thanks go to Blackhawk for writing the original outline spec for the software and for his continuing input. I want to also thank the other senior members who have been helping with feedback and assisting in gathering the affiliate program data we need for the system.
There IS light at the end of the tunnel. More news next week…

September 21, 2006 at 8:55 pm #706888AnonymousInactiveSounds like a great program. Looks like this will help every webmaster at CAP for sure. Btw…Are there different forums for senior members? I am starting to get jealous that I am missing all the happenings in the background
September 21, 2006 at 10:03 pm #706897AnonymousInactiveOne of the better peices of news I’ve read while on my rounds today.
The aff programmes are going to love it when they receive thousands of auto reports. If there are 5000 pages of dodge, and the webmasters multipled by 1000’s running the programme in the similar time bracket.
Sounds to me this is going to cause a stir one way or the other. I hope it works out that way.

I see a couple of people mention a BETA floating around….is this for public consumption yet ? I couldn’t find it anywhere on the site.
CAP rocks !
