Google is definitely in bed with this guy. Google deletes 1 or 2 a day, to make things look good, but allows for the infiltration, which comes at a greater rate than the deletion. Coincidental or well architected ?
Without even trying, here are today’s new spam sites (fresh in the Google index), all from the same BH’er, which all points to his famed:

I think he has found a way to get into Google quickly. THAT is the problem. An exploit of their algo which is probably not easy for Goog to fix without removing a ton of WH sites from the SERPS.
September 2, 2006 at 12:58 pm #704327AnonymousInactiveJust this morning alone, I found these sites without batting an eye. All the same spammer, all pages served from the spamming site SEOEXP.INFO. If Google wanted, they could easily key on this .INFO site, when making a determination as to whether a site should go or not. But, they choose not to.
All pages route toxxxhttp://www.casinos777portal.com (Casino Pays)

What does Google have to gain from this spammer? They do not have adsense on their sites, correct? Nope – Just checked, so no revenue for Google there.
The are making the SERPS look like crap. Does this make Google happy? Nope – they want the best fit SERPS so that other sites/SE’s will use their search algorithms (so that they can make money via adsense)
So – Google has nothing to gain by letting this go.
However – Google is NOT a small entity anylonger. So, just like any other large, bloated company; it takes time to figure out and implement a strategy. They WILL remove this spammer, but the problem is this:
If they remove all re-directs to that website, then this spammer will create SEOEXP2.INFO and continue on.
It’s not as easy as it seems, I think, and the big G probably wants a more permanent solution to this exploit.
Just a guess, though. In the meantime? It sucks big ass.

That’s it in a nutshell.
September 2, 2006 at 2:26 pm #704341vladcizsolMemberCall me a cynic, but I think this is a certain level of anti-affiliate, anti gaming, anti adult sentiment at Google that parallels what we see at DMOZ. As a result I think that they are less then motivated to devote resources to this particular area.
They have already stated they do not WANT online gaming advertisers (I know a few people sneak in under the radar). I think that in itself indicates they aren’t too interested in cleaning up these categories. They just might be of the opinion “Hey let these scummy affiliates kill each other. We would be better off devoting our engineering resources to developing new mainstream products that will increase our bottom lines and market value”
I dont think they really care much about this (I know WE do, but they dont) and arent going to spend thousands of programming hours trying to put “good affiliates” back on top of their serps.
I am sure if they had their druthers all affiliates, good and bad, would be eliminated from their search directory and that only lilly white information publishers would appear in the serps.
September 2, 2006 at 2:35 pm #704342AnonymousInactiveProfessor,
I agree with all you say EXCEPT for the fact that the scumballs flood the money areas (gambling and porn taking the 1st prize), and if they were serious about ridding the indices of the BH’ers, then what better place to try any potential “cleaning” algorithm than these areas ?
Affiliates, in general, are tied to closely to Google revenue (AdSense), so outright ban of affiliates would clearly cut off the money supply. A similar case can be made for the BH’ers, many of whom, subscribe to AdSense (kwblue is correct in that the above references in this post don’t appear to be using AdSense, today anyway).
There probably is a conflict of opinion in Google…..gambling is not looked at favorably by our government, revenue is of most importance, the indices are getting polluted, lots to ponder.
IMO, Google will lose its pre-eminence over time, and rising comers like ASK.COM, will increase, and eventually take over, market share.
Unfortunately, I think everyone loses, as we move forward…..
September 2, 2006 at 2:49 pm #704343AnonymousInactivedhayman I sense you feel very strongly about this issue as most of do. Google I highly doubt appreciates this spam and is probably trying their best to correct the problem.
I noticed a few things the domain xxx.casinos777portal.com has very little to do with the problem. The legitimate sites were set up before this domain are the culprits.
What is happenning here a group of people with legit sites got together and did this. How do I know? because the people taking part already have indexed pages on google.
I could find the answers for you, but would require a long term search. I do have partial answers but nothing concrete.
Now that you have posted this information I would like to ask what do you plan on doing about it?

September 2, 2006 at 3:07 pm #704345AnonymousInactiveGreek,
My plans are:
1) Fly to Moscow, and beat the crap out of the SEOEXP.INFO domain
owner;2) Continue to report them to Google, for what little it is worth;
3) I’m contacting the registrars for all site owners to complain (again,
more of a scare tactic);4) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY – I’ve drawn up a very strong business plan
to diversify my Internet businesses out of the gaming sector. Between
government threats and Black Hat-takeover, the time has come to plan
for the future. This has been a nice run, and it is hard to let go of it,
but survivors need to roll with the times and the punches. I will still
remain in this business, but all new efforts will be focused elsewhere. How about you, what are your plans ?
September 2, 2006 at 3:14 pm #704347AnonymousInactiveFor me I could do several things. But at the end would it be worth my time and energy? Beleive me I hate this stuff just as much as you do. My plans is to do nothing. greek39
September 2, 2006 at 3:28 pm #704348AnonymousInactiveThis 777 guy really is the plague.
I looked up a few major keywords yesterday and bang we have Mr Asshole with 5 pages in the top SERP only beaten by howstuffworks and wikipedia!
This MF is 2nd to a top 10 traffic site on the web with his shit. This really tips the balance and the Google geeks that don´t take pleasure in smut or gambling tick me off to be quite honest. I think Google should start to employ people that have blood in their veins and not little ones and zeros flowing around.
I could understand if Google went after the warez people and kiddy fiddlers but their crusade against gambling and smut is hypocrisy.By the way Google obviously renders their own webmaster guidlines obsolete if this kind of “content” is allowed to gain the upper hand over good genuine content.
September 2, 2006 at 5:33 pm #704365AnonymousInactiveI am dissapointed in the fact cpays will do nothing…
September 2, 2006 at 7:18 pm #704369AnonymousInactiveIt’s the allmighty dollar coupled with short term vision.
CPays is conviced that when they finally get thrown out of there, the honest affiliates will take them back.
September 5, 2006 at 12:51 pm #704592AnonymousInactiveSomeone in this forum (I forget who) said that Google is working on an algorithm to rid it of gambling BH’ers. By today’s count, I think what that poster meant is that Google is working on an algorithm to cater to certain BH’ers. All these redirect to

the SEOEXP.INFO domain
