Jackpotjoy Report
I just got back to Australia from three weeks in London where I met the team, learned the Jackpotjoy philosophy and got up to speed on the games and systems.
For a full run down of just how Jackpotjoy has become one of the fastest growing companies in the United Kingdom, what the future holds and what it means for you, read on.
Inside Jackpotjoy
30 hours in transit from Australia to England with next to no sleep is not the best way to start the day. But after entering the Jackpotjoy head office in Regent St London I was soon charged with an energy that runs throughout the whole operation.
Greeted by Noel Hayden (Managing Director) I soon found that this company had something special to offer, not only to its dedicated team of nearly 100 employees but also to its ever growing player base which is set to hit 1 million players before the end of the year.
Lisa Gregory (North American Country Manager) took me under her wing for the duration of my visit starting with a tour of operations.
Tour of Operations
Taking up three entire levels of the building the offices are configured in an open plan. Departments such as Analytics, Marketing, Retention and Design are all housed in one massive office space.
This open plan style enables department’s freedom to communicate with each other and build a truly dynamic team environment.
Dropping down a level I met the tech team headed by Tom Hillary. Running like a well fanned CPU the team uses the latest methodologies to produce custom games engines and ensure stability of the systems.
The final level in the London office is reserved for additional personal bought in to keep up with the super fast growth the company is experiencing.
The support team is based in the city of Stock-on-Trent. One of the key factors to the success of an online gaming company has to be support and after meeting Jenny (Support Manager) and her team I knew that this vital component was world class. Each email and phone call was handled by knowledgeable, friendly staff and they where aided with custom software to track and manage the support requests and yet again the electricity I experienced in the head office somehow managed to overflow to this office based two hours away by train.
Jackpotjoy on the move
Setting up a base at the Analytics department and working closely with the management team I went about learning the current offering to affiliates and how the company ties everything together.
I was soon absorbed in the Jackpotjoy story which has seen truly amazing growth in the UK market and is set to expand internationally. I learned that affiliates have played a key part in the companies’ growth and that management understands the need to ensure affiliates are looked after.
Conversions and retention are seen as the corner stone of the success to the affiliate program and the team envisages utilizing the same winning formula that has worked so well in the UK. Added to this formula a team of international gaming experts has been assembled to maximize results from day one.
Jackpotjoy is working closely with strong brands that affiliates can leverage off ensuring the traffic affiliates send obtains the highest possible conversion rates and is followed up by player promotions and huge jackpots that will give affiliates maximum life time value of players.
After my time in London I have a clear picture of where the company stands and what will be available to affiliates to offer through Income Access.
All in all I have to say I am very excited about the future at Jackpotjoy not only for myself as a career move but also for affiliates who are ultimately who I answer to at the end of the day.
