I belive mahjong might be too difficult a game for westerners? The key to pokers success is it apears on the outside to be a very easy game, the rules are rather simple and can be learned in a short time. anyone have opinions on this?

I would be interested to promote mahjong, but I wonder if there is actually any money in it. How is money made? is it like poker tournaments, where a small fee is paid over the entry fee and the winner takes his/her share of the prize pool? I would love to know what the best ‘mahjong’ affiliate makes? I would guess it is a rather small amount.
