What is the best way for me to get game screen shots? Should the casinos provide them? I haven’t really noticed any yet in any of the marketing material. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks. :)

Download a few casinos, take screenshots of the games you want, and then resize the images with a photo editor such as Photoshop. Piece of cake!

    Hi Creativeone,

Some programs offer screen shot banners for their affiliates so that you don’t have to create them yourself. :colgate: For instance Lasseters Online Casino offers screen shot banners for all their slot games, as do a few other casinos.

Feel free to send me a PM or email if you’re interested :)

I have always wondered, is this a copyright violation?

even if I use it on my site for profit?

what if I resold the images?

just wondering, I use some poker room images on my site and I’ve always wondered if I entered a gray area.

If you’re an affiliate, I don’t think most casinos would mind, why not ask them? We are usually more than happy to supply our affiliates with the creatives that they are looking for.

If you don’t ask, it would be a good idea to check their T&C first :terms:

As for re-selling the images, I have no clue but it doesn’t sound like a wise idea if you don’t have permission first.

    Hi creativeone,

On my game reviews page I use screen snap shots for some featured slot games
like Cashanova, Mad Hatters and a few others.

The images are large so while someone is reading the review I cache the images so they’ll load faster, (in theory anyways). I also add a robots meta tag so the search engines won’t crawl them. That way they won’t appear when someone does an image search.

I also disable the right mouse click and the gallery feature for IE.
