The Scottish former chief executive of a US-based online bookmaker and seven others have pleaded not guilty to racketeering and other charges.
Edinburgh-born David Carruthers, 48, who was dismissed by BetonSports after his arrest by American authorities two weeks ago while passing through a Texas airport, entered the not guilty plea and was held while a bail arrangement was worked out.
