    Hi again,

I would like to know what Site Builders you are using. Can you give me an advice about a good one, but not so expensive like Dreamweaver.
I’m using Yahoo SiteBuilder and it’s a disaster and they are no help at all, i don’t think they know what they’re doing, i never get a strait answer from them.:banger:
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I am very new at this launched my first site in April and then the second in June. I started with a simple HTML editor but quickly found that it didn’t have the features that I was looking for. I now use Front Page it runs about $200 but is well worth it. It has a WYSIWYG feature which allows you to switch betweem preview and html view. This has been very helpful to me and allows me to learn the coding at my own pace. Trial and error is the best education.

You must be doing something right with a PR3, that’s more than I can say for my site. Argh!

I use dreamweaver and really like it. Maybe what you can do is get an older dreamweaver version for cheap on ebay. I was using 3 for the last couple years and just upgraded to version 8. I could do just about the same things with the older version.

    Thanks Nauty and kdollar,

I was thinking about Front page, and i will check dreamweaver on ebay, as long as it’s not very difficult :dozing:

I was looking into different web hosts and some of them have page builders for free with you hosting account, but i don’t want to get into something again like yahoo.
Yahoo is my host and having the site builder seemed easy at that time, but i was still learning. Now i now that you have to have a description of you site in the meta tags, but the sitebuilder only has a place to write the titel and the keywords. When i tried to write the rest of the meta tags in the HTML of the page, they came out all scrumbled, after i published, so now i have to go to my file manager and manually write my meta tags on every page i rewrite or change:cuss: Belive me it takes a lot of time with over 100 pages.
I asked for help at yahoo, but got just bunch of sh…like they don’t know what i’m talking about.
But, any way thanks for your reply

You shouldn’t have to redo your meta tags by hand there are plenty of free programs out there that will do them. I think I paid $39 for one that generates the meta keywords tag automatically by pulling keywords from my page and then it inserts it right onto the page for me. It’s by Hermatic and it’s Keyword Meta Tag Generator, they also have a freeware version. That program was such a life saver for me that they put up my testimonial on there site, lucky for me, free advertising is hard to come by.:D

If you are interested in an excellent software which utilizes drag-and-drop to build a site rather than writing html, try WebStudio.com. They have a comprehensive website and a really good, active forum that supports the product, and you can purchase it for under $100.
